Thank you for Forza 6, it is a great improvement over Forza 5 and I am enjoying the game immensely.
However
Mazda RX3’s are glitched out, accelerate as fast as something in A or S class and reach speeds of ~190 mph. They are ruining D class hoppers. Could you please set a restriction against RX3’s in multiplayer until the car is patched? Finding it hard to play my favorite class online.
It’s not just the Mazda RX3. Another car that performs too well is the Lotus Elan (when modded specifically). The whole problem deals with certain cars that can be modded in specific ways to achieve performance levels outside of their supposed PI levels. There are a bunch of low level cars where you convert to AWD and RACE DIFF, and suddenly they are race cars.
It’s a problem with many cars in the game, it’s an exploit involving tuning a race differential. Turn 10 is aware of the problem, but last we heard they still weren’t sure what the root of the cause was.
There are a lot of cars affected to varying degrees and it goes from E up to B class at least.
I sometimes pull one out in a public lobby if someone else has one of those cars out first. They often leave or change cars after that. Sorry to anyone I may have DNF’d.
Sorry if I thought your 69 Fairlady was an AWD glitch and it wasn’t. It looked like one and performed like one, but apparently is not. (this is to someone in particular who will probably read this)
Indeed. I’ve been accused of cheating in my Scirocco (D class), but it’s FWD, only has a sport diff, and has never seen the inside of a tuning shop (mild upgrades only). It’s getting kinda crazy.
I only play D and B classes on line. If turn 10 does not fix this differential glitch, the game is ruined. One fix would be to ban changing from FWD and RWD to AWD. At least, until they have a proper fix. It’s hard to belive this glitch got passed the testing phase.
Thank you for your answers everyone. Is there an official response from Turn 10?
Unfortunately, there are those out there that will cheat any way they can. Either by glitching the cars or by cutting the tracks. We always try to weed them out with the Vote to Kick option.
I accidentally once ran an RX7 that was auto upgraded for C (I think it was something I acquired during the first day of playing) I took it into the lobby and it was walking past other cars, including another RX7 (? was he driving automatic?) It was amazingly quick. Turn grip was horrible though.
Checked the cars upgrades and was shocked to see that it was by default a higher tier C class car, and could only handle the most basic of upgrades. Like 25 more points or something. I think that may be a pretty sweet car in C if I can get to to grip, without the luxury of adjustable upgrade parts.
Whoever is sharing the glitched tune-ups for the Rx3 needs to be banned or given a warning. I’m getting tired of seeing the same tune for that car in D class. 6.5 acceleration, yet can blast through the pack within one turn? Yeah right.
I remember something similar to this with the Alfa Romeo GTA in Forza 4 with the V6 swap. That took some time to get patched.
It’s a shame this stuff has to happen, because I love both of these cars!
Well for expletive deleted and grins last night; ok maybe around 4 in this morning i tried one of these hopped up super RX3s that have been dominating the c class league hopper and wow zoom zoom but no turn turn. Thing was an absolute handful and not in a fun way. I am glad to see them go by the wayside.
