Maverick Speed Motorsports: We Want YOU To Join!

Are you tired of constantly getting wrecked in the public lobbies or are you tired of having to use 1 or 2 cars to be competitive in the Hoppers? Do you want to have a fun experience while racing but also using your favorite cars and talk about all things car related? If so then Maverick Speed Motorsports is the place for you!

Maverick Speed Motorsports (MSM) is an international Forza 5 team that is always looking to add members of all skill levels interested in growing their racing experience beyond the infamous Forza “leaderboard” cars and overly aggressive driving that tend to dominate online racing.

MSM hosts regular weekly racing events where teammates are welcome to help each other improve their skills and compete in organized races within Forza 5. We also make an effort to ensure competitive balance among our membership by having a “tier” system that gives new or struggling drivers a chance to compete with the fastest racers on the team.

In the end, one important thing that can be counted on - regular team activity fostered within a relaxed racing atmosphere that encourages friendly competition.

Activities, such as historic racing with cars from the 60’s and 70’s, classic and modern rivalries between makes (BMW vs. Mercedes) and models (Mustang vs. Camaro), as well as stock vehicle series, will regularly take place.

MSM does not have a team car designated, because such a variety of cars and series will be explored across a wide range of classes.

The team colors are red and purple. The team leader is Dominic Mako. The co-leader is RetPetty and our head recruiter is CallMehDarkside(Also known as Bobbo)

good quality bunch who wouldn’t let me win even in my first outing with them the scoundrels, lol

if your looking for somewhere to race these guys are worth a look

Looking for people who use racing wheels. Do any of your members use them? I primarily play forza 5 now and I am looking for challenging players that race with little to no assist.

I don’t believe we have any wheel users, but most of our members use only the braking line, though a few are in the process of racing without that too

Our next series is the FM5 1970s Touring Car Series which kicks off August 9th

Valid cars are:

1970 Datsun 510
1971 Lotus Elan Sprint
1971 Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R
1973 BMW 2002 Turbo
1973 Mazda RX-3
1974 Totota Celica GT
1975 Fiat X1/9
1977 Ford Escort RS1800

Tune to top of C class. All must have front and rear aero and a roll cage. And must remain RWD.

Hope to see you there
