I know a lot of y’all race up in the higher classes, but for those of you that like hang out in D I have a 97’ Civic tune that will do great in the lobbies and time attack.
Prague short reverse: 1:06.8xx #16 in rivals and 1:06.6xx during testing. That’ll put you in the top 25.
Indy GP: 1:40.3xx #21 in rivals. Not gonna beat the muscle cars, but can do some damage in the lobbies I’m sure.
Spa: I think it was a 1:51.xxx can’t remember. It’ll do good there.
This tune is amazing. I have set PB’s on three tracks so far and I plan to do more.
Prague Short Rev - #22 1:07.069 I love all the Prague tracks and your tune is so fun on this track. I’m working on Short Fwd but I may nedd to use your Miata.
Alps Festival - #52 2:02.932 I am also a fan of the Alps tracks and just broke into the top 100 with your tune.
Indy GP - #46 1:41.287 Not my favorite track but with this car it was very easy to have fun running it.
One word can describe your tune - WOW. Thanks for sharing your excellent work.
I tried to run your Civic at Bugatti instead of using a Mini. It was going pretty good but I couldn’t quite reach the top 100. I think I will try again tonight and if that doesn’t happen, I have your Mini tunes to try.
Hey man, thanks for the great feedback. I’m glad you’re enjoying the car. As far as trying it at Bugatti, I wouldn’t try it around there. Not in this class anyway. For sure the cooper could post a good time. Don’t remember what I posted there though. I’m gonna try and make a list of all my shared tunes tonight and give a brief description of them.
I was able to put a couple of decent times on Alps Festival Reverse and Alps Stadtplatz Reverse in the 97’ Civic. I haven’t had a chance to run them on the regular version on those circuits yet.
Alps Festival Circuit Reverse: 2:05.718 #40
Alps Stadtplatz Reverse: 1:43.273 #29
I know it won’t be able to conquer the Celica at both tracks, but it can give you a good time and will do just fine in the lobbies there.
I have set multiple PB’s with this car! All alps tracks and a few more I cant remember. All placed under 900th and 1 or 2 under 500th which is very good for me. Awesome tune! I also like the D class Mugen too. Keep that puppy in 3rd gear and go to town!
Thanks for sharing this D-class tune. I’ve only been racing FM for about 3 months and I am still a pretty “bad” drive, much to learn! However, I was able to knock off 3+ seconds off my time with my Mini Cooper (Prague Short Reverse). I tired again and unfortunately had a mini bump in one of the turns, if not, I would have knock a total of 6 seconds off my PB. Again, thanks! Now, back to getting those extra 3 seconds…
Thanks guys for trying this out. I know many peeps don’t venture down there, but it’s always nice to have something competitive to drive. I also have three other tunes that work really well in D Class. An Acura Integra and Toyota Celica that do really well at Spa and like tracks. Also two tunes for the CRX Mugen Civic. One for Alps Club Reverse with 120hp and one lobby tune with around 140hp. The lobby tune does real well almost everywhere. Not the long tracks though. I wouldn’t run the 120hp in the lobbies. It takes off really really slow because of the stock transmission.
