As ERS has stated, some of the tunes did not always load properly. The tunes I have posted are in most cases identical to the tune I used to set my times. If you have not been happy with them, please try them again. My times are an indication of their capabilities as you are racing what I have raced.
Come join me! I am going to start going through the D Class rivals in order. Each week or two I will be taking the leaderboard cars and tuning them up for the community. I play with no assists so I cannot speak to the adequacy of the tune with other settings. Search for my GT and look for my “Qualifying Trim” tunes. I have the 2003 Toyota Celica SS-I posted for the Bernese Alps Festival. So far I have had three racers I play with get top 50 times with this tune. This same set up can be used on Bernese Alps Stadtplatz. I also have a top 50 tune for the X Class #9 Target Chip Ganassi Dallara DW12 for the Indy Oval. I will continue sharing my set ups as long as I get some love back (OK, a “like” will be fine, too!) once you have played with it and it has improved your time.

As promised, I have shared a tune for the next Class D Rivals event. Bernese Alps Club Circuit leaderboard tune for the Honda Civic CRX Mugen is now available and it is good. First off, thanks to all of the people who supported (liked) my last endeavor with the 03 Toyota Celica SS-I. I hope it was easy to drive and help you climb up the leaderboards to gain bragging rights amongst your friends. Now back to the car. I posted a top 15 time with this tune with some room for improvement. Go check it out, download, and “Like” it if it improves your times. As always you can search my gamertag, Snack 31 (yes there is a space) and download the “Qualifying Trim” tune. If any of you happen to beat my time, I want to know about it. Please reply or come follow me. I will probably lose some sleep, but I think it’s a little overrated anyways.
In full disclosure, EMW Simmo has a tune for this same car, same event. I have used his tune to get to the number 10 spot on the Leaderboards. I am sure he would appreciate it if you downloaded and “Liked” his tune as well, I know I did! Simmo, if you come across this, lets discuss. I think we can get to the top of the charts.
Anyways, everyone go and check out both of these set ups. They drive slightly different so one may fit your personal driving style better.
Happy Racing!
Oh, I almost forgot. Whoever downloaded it prior to this post and “Liked” it, I appreciate it. I was still making some adjustments and didn’t mean to share it yet. You might want to try the one that is currently posted as it is a bit better.

I would love to get my hands on base tune for the Dallara…Do you have a D-class RSX tune?? I love racing around in the lil FWD celicas, integras and so on. I basaically “street tune” them, (fe) intake, exhaust, ignition, rims and all the other upgrades ppl usually put on them in real life. My RSX has stock motor and tires, I have upgraded to the race suspension and anti roll bars but the front inside tire loses grip at the end of the turn. I softened the front, stiffened the rear, added neg camber and played with the arb’s but I still lose traction. I don’t want to put new tires on bc it raises the pp too much, and want to avoid wider rims unless they are def needed. Any tips or recommended suspension settings would be great!! I’m tuning the RSX now but i’ll take advice on ay compact you got bc i’ll prolly get to tuning them eventually, most tuners move them up to C-class.
Well its been a busy week or two. I have just posted an updated 03 Celica S-I tune for the Alps Reverse Tracks. It might even be better on the forward tracks, too!
PlayerOne, Sorry I haven’t responded sooner. I do not have an RSX tune. If you are loosing grip in the front, I would suggest wider front tires. This seems to be the single most important upgrade to get the FWD cars to grip and it would stick with your “street tuned” theme. Even though it may raise your PI, I would take the trade off for losing some Power. If you can get the power down to the wheels coming out of a turn it will make a world of difference. From a tuning stance, you want to run a lot of negative camber. My FWD D Class cars are usually around -3 in the front tires. If you have the front aero component increasing the downforce will help you exit the turn as well.
Well, we are almost finished up with the Alps variants, so hopefully that means some new D Class cars coming to the tuning garage soon.
Happy Racing!

Alright everybody, just finished the last of the Bernese Alps tracks. The Honda Civic Mugen has now been shared with the community for the Alps Club Reverse. look for the QT Alps Club R tune as it was modified from the other Mugen Qualifying Trim tune to optimize the car for this specific track layout.
Next up is Bathurst. There are a few leaderboard cars in the top ten. If anyone has a particular car they want to see me build from that list make it known now as I will start tuning something later this week. I believe the candidates are the Dodge Charger, The Lotus Elan Sprint, or the 1970 Dodge Challenger. There may be some others out there as well. I will check back before I start the build to see which car people would like most.
Happy Racing!
Dodge all the way for Bathurst…would be nice to see a Charger zooming thru there, but whichever gets you the best time is good enough for me.
Slow Ride, I have already started with the Lotus Elan since it was the top non-assist car. I was wrong about the charger, it was actually the Challenger or the Chevy Chevelle. Since you were the only one to respond though, I will make you a Charger. Just let me know which class and if you want to use it for Lobbies or Rivals. Give me some time as I have been pretty busy lately. I was also a bit distracted by the fun competition that came from Lou’s Kia thread. If you haven’t tried it yet, look for his thread in the tuner’s lounge.
Just whichever car you can get to work best. I used your celica and CRX tunesin the ALps and put them all in the top 150 or so on leaderboards. Just couldnt cut a great enough lap to catch your ghost. So I leave it in your hands to make a LB capable car no matter the make/model. Just say when its ready and I will try it out.
My Box Chevy! Well everyone, I have finally posted a Chevy Chevelle tune for Bathurst (“Qualifying Trim” as always). It is a little underpowered compared to the upper echelon of cars out there. Still managed top 50 time, but it is way off from the leaders. If any top tuners or RWD tuners could try it out (no assists) and offer feedback/suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. Try chasing ONR Chronic and you will see that he eats me up coming out of turn 1. It may just be a throttle control issue and my inexperience with RWD cars in FM5. A little background; 5.7L engine, centrifugal supercharger, weight reduction kit. I have set the ARB’s pretty stiff for responsiveness, the rear springs very soft for added grip, aero completely dropped for less drag, both differentials are set very high for more input control. It feels a little unresponsive to me, but I haven’t driven RWD cars much in Forza5 so I don’t have much reference for comparison. I am going on vacation for the week so if I don’t respond immediately, I will when I get back. Thanks in advance!
I will probably give the Mini a try eventually as Simmo has proven it is very competitive since I started the Chevelle tune. It was a little sad actually, I had been tuning and racing the Chevelle on and off for about a week and he takes all of 10 or 20 min to posts the top time with his Mini.
Hope everyone enjoys the car, Happy Racing!
Back with the next D Class Rivals tune. The 65 Mini Cooper is up for Catalunya Grand Prix. File name, “Qual. Trim CGP”. Hope you enjoy!

Hey everyone! Well I am taking a break from the tuning as some of you can tell. It is just taking entirely too long to learn and race. My goal was to give everyone a chance to race with the fastest cars and set-ups to see where they stand against some of the best. The tunes can make a HUGE difference in times. I know I used to get frustrated because I knew I could drive good, but I wondered how good I was since I was not driving an identical car as the leaders. However, many of the top drivers are currently sharing their tunes and most of them are much better than anything I can come up with at this point. I will still give you guys a heads up as to what tune I am using as I go through rivals. I will continue to learn and improve, but for know I think there is better stuff out there. From what I’ve tried so far, anything tuned by EMW Simmo or the EMW guys is top notch. I am currently using TPR Zermatt’s 65 mini cooper. Go check it out.

Anyone out there willing to take the time to mentor me in the art of tuning, I would greatly appreciate it. I feel like I know the basics pretty well so I don’t need someone to hold my hand, but I don’t fully understand how to get the car to do certain things.
Alright, I have another for everyone. D Class 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse for the Indy Oval. Got it in the top 35 so far. Search my gamertag, tune name Qualifying Trim. Enjoy and thanks for the support.

And another one. Just shared my Lotus Elan tune for D Class Indy GP. Currently sitting top 20 hardcore and top 25 overall. Search my GT. I believe the tune is still called Qualifying Trim, if not you’ll find it under my Gamertag as it is the only shared Lotus Elan tune I have up. Enjoy!
Hey everyone! It’s been awhile, but I am getting amped as FM6 nears. I will try and devote a little more time back to FM5, especially since we can export tunes to the new game. I moved on from D-Class even though I did not nearly get through all of the tracks. It seems many of you run other classes so I figured I would jump up to A-Class. I have also decided to pick up from the tracks I left off on D-Class if you were following along. First up is Prague.
I have just posted the KTM-Xbow (Search my GT under “Qualifying Trim”) for A-Class. I know there are probably a ton of tunes for this car out there, but this one is really good so go check it out! I have put it in the top 10 (hardcore) every race so far and am competitive with the top racer’s times. The good news is this looks to be the leaderboard car on a lot of the A-Class tracks, so you should get a lot of time behind the wheel for this one if you haven’t already. Ennnnnnjoy It (Brody Stevens voice)!
I might start broadcasting if there is any interest and I can find some extra time in the day. I am thinking some MP, definitely Rivals mode, maybe some tuning?
I gave you celica tune a try. It was pretty legit only 2 laps and I posted around 450. You definitely have my likes!
Appreciate it buddy! To be honest that thing is pretty old. I think a newer DLC car supplanted the Celica. If I remember correctly, it was pretty stable and probably still a good lobby car. I am still learning the finer points of tuning, but they are getting better.
Are you playing the D-Class Rivals? Maybe I’ll give another D-Class Leaderboard car a tune and post it. I am focusing hard on tuning right now, so that would be a great fit. Otherwise, my A-Class KTM Xbow has been really good on Prague although I am trying to improve it’s slow corner turn in and might repost it when it feels better.
Glad you enjoy the Celica! Thanks for the “likes”
Hey guys I’m a noob to this forum. How do I download the tunes?
