Hello forza fanatics!

I searched & I can’t find info or answers anywhere!

#1 — Maserati… I bought a GranTurismo in Flat Black / Matte Black.
After purchasing the car…If I go to “paint” & select manufacturer colors there are two blue color options next to eachother. One is supposed to be a metalic & the other is supposed to be Flat. However they both show up as the same metalic blue…

If I go to “Buy Cars” & select Maserati, then select the GranTurismo & go thru the paint options… The Flat Blue shows up no problem.

just curious if anyone else has noticed this??

#2 — FORZA FORUM…

I use my phone (Galaxy S4) to browse the forums… If I open a page on the Forums it loads it without an issue…But as soon as I touch the screen to scroll etc. My phone acts like it’s reloading/refreshing the page but It ends up sending me back to the forums main/home page… In order for me to counteract the issue, I have to load the page…then touch the screen. As it starts to refresh the page, I have to hit the “X” in my browser bar to stop the reloading. Then I am free to browse the page & it doesnt try to reload/refresh until I go to a different page…

curious if anyone else has this same issue?

  1. Matte colors are weird like that on Forza. If you figure out the paint code for the matte blue (I can do that for you if necessary), just go into Apply Decals and put giant squares with that paint code all over the car. It’ll get you that same color of blue but with the current matte paint.

  2. I used to have that issue all the time. Eventually it fixed itself, but until it did I had to use that same workaround. Unfortunately I don’t know of anything else you can do.

how would I go about finding the paint code?

its a bummer matte paint isn’t an option for every car!

Yep, no problem man!

To obtain the paint code for any color simply go into Paint Car, Paint Body, then press X. You will then get three numbers, that’s the paint code. The GT’s matte blue paint code according to the game is 0.62 0.64 0.60. This method works for all metallic and gloss colors (though it only gets you close for matte colors). After doing a little adjusting, the paint code that’s closest to the stock matte blue is 0.63 0.66 0.38. Now just go to Apply Decals and put a giant square on every side of the car with that second paint code I gave you. That’s as close as you can get to the stock matte blue without having to buy the car again.

I have no use for this GT being as I only bought it to give you the paint code, so if you’d like shoot me a friend request and I’ll just gift you the car. ; )
