I don’t buy a lot of racing games so i wouldnt know much about certain things, but do you go faster using Manual than auto? Or is that a different play style? I started using manual yesterday & it’s pretty fun!
But also yesterday I found this guy in a class X car that drag raced pretty good against my class X car. He waited 3 seconds after the race started and then passed me at the speed of light! O_O Is that Manual w/ clutch? We raced a bunch of times which made me want to use Manual.
Manual/Manual Clutch will always be faster I believe. It allows you to change gear at the perfect time.
If I were you I would make the switch to manual, get used to using just manual then make your way to using the clutch as well. Personally it’s a much more enjoyable experience to use it as well

Yea using manual is the way to go in all racing games because you can easily get a slight edge on any corner. As mentioned, it is also really enjoyable. And if you’re going to get into a racing game, there is only one way… =]
