Since there’s a lot of talk about the advanced revolutionary physics advancements compared to any driving game/sim out there, it would make perfect sense to have an actual in-game ability to adjust traction and ABS during the race. For example from 1 to 10, or 11. Also, brake bias ( front to back ).
Especially since we’re finally talking about ACTUAL motorsport, since drivers are constantly adjusting all of those features on the fly during the race. This is also important for everyone driving on the wheel setup ( which A LOT of people have nowadays ) to make the experience as authentic and enjoyable as possible.
this should make 100% sense, especially since ABS and TC, FINALLY, aren’t bound to “difficulty settings” and “post race rewards” anymore.
I was writing this with primarily GT3 in mind. Given the popularity of GT3 racing in recent years, it would be a shame to miss out on this opportunity. It could be a class dependent option. Since some cars don’t even have ABS or TC.

Since Esaki talked a lot about how they want to focus way more on endurance series and GT3 ( where only actual gt3 are permitted to enter despite of PI of other cars), where track conditions can vastly change during the race, and given the notion of " no two laps every feel or drive the same", this would be exponentially different in a longer period of time with massive track temp change, rubber in, water on track, etc. Hence why it’s important to have different traction in such race.

Yes, but not only TCS should be adjustable in race, also being able to adjust the diff during the race would be a nice feature. Should be fairly easy to implement with using the D-buttons to open a little menu on the controller and its counterpart on a wheel.

NFS’ Quick Tuning options are available at all times during Free Roam, that’s another thing Forza could take from that series.
Abs should be adjustable in gt3 cars, it is not just an assist but a feature of the car.

Almost every major series is running some sort of abs and traction control, from gt3s, gt4s, and even lmp/hypercar.
Maybe not a adjustable. But a more feasible option would be to have it simply on or off during a race because you can actually do that in real racing. Besides there is three options you can choose from l. I don’t see any reason why having the ability to change it during race shouldn’t be added.
Turn on and off is a respectable first step
