Major Issue: Forza 6 Ultimate Edition Content Restrictions Since Day One

Hey there. I have been having what I would consider a pretty serious issue for over two months now, and I feel it has gone on long enough, which I why I decided to make this post. Also, I know there are other people that have had this same issue, so I am asking for assistance either from Turn 10, anyone on the forums, or both.

I purchased the Ultimate Edition of Forza Motorsport 6 back on September 17 and downloaded the game (digital edition) via another account on my Xbox One. The game downloaded fine for both accounts, except my account was not granted “full access” to any of the pre-order or Ultimate Edition content. All the cars from the car packs and VIP are all available for me to purchase in-game, but I have to pay full price with credits. Also, the VIP content and features have not yet been granted to me (the cars are there, but I have to pay credits for these, too), and these were certainly supposed to be there, as well. On the other hand, the account the game was downloaded on has these cars available for free, and also has all the VIP features. Since this content is already downloaded on my Xbox, I am unable to purchase the content with my account because it already says “Installed.” I am wondering if there is something I can do to fix this problem, as it has been going on ever since I got the game.

I already tried making the same Xbox the “Home Xbox” with the other account and mine, but this did not work. Also, I contacted Xbox Customer Support, and they said they would report the issue to Turn 10 right away. However, nothing has been fixed to date, and I have been hopeful until I am once again disappointed every time there is a content update for Forza 6. (The only DLC cars I have been able to access for free so far are the two “special” cars that came along with the updates.) Customer Support told me to remove both accounts from the Xbox and “reboot” them, but this did not work, either. Therefore, I feel I have done almost everything I can do on my end, unless, of course, I missed something.

The problem has now gone even deeper because as the car packs (part of what I payed for, the Car Pass) keep coming out monthly, I do not have these for free, but must purchase them with in-game credits.

This is all I can think of at the moment, but I will certainly let you know if I can think of any other useful information.

Please reply if you are either having or had the same issue, or if you agree that this restriction to the Ultimate Edition content is unfair and must be fixed. Forza Motorsport 6 is, by the way, the only game that I currently play on the Xbox One, meaning this has certainly been frustrating since day one that I do not properly have the content on my account.

Oh, and I am new to the forums, so please be respectful with your post. Just because I’m new to Forza Forums doesn’t mean I’m new to Forza, either. xD

Thanks.

That would be correct - the account that owns the content is the only one that gets free cars, the other accounts have to use credits/tokens.
VIP only applies to the account that purchased it. If you want to buy it for another account the simplest work around is to do it through xbox.com rather than on your XB1.
