My windows had an update this morning and after the update when i tried to play forza, everything reset it seems and now i’m back at square one. Is there a load game or did it delete my save when the PC updated?
Same issue here, after updating to Slow Ring Insider Preview Build 14342 all my progress was deleted.
Sadly these things can happen with a Beta. Maybe it will right itself when it tries to sync with a cloud save? Maybe…
I am sorry you lost your save but as an IT professional I would not recommend using preview builds on your main PC. You are taking a chance, and not just with Apex.
Usually the Slow Ring for PC is pretty safe(also work in IT btw 
), wouldn’t recommend it on mobile though. I’m also well aware things like this happen, I’m not really bummed out about it, i mean beta game + beta OS, these things are bound to happen. I was just reporting the issue to prevent anybody else from encountering the same and in the hopes of someone forwarding this to the dev, it may be an issue both on their side and on the OS part.
I run a preview build on a secondary install. NEVER as a main use system. It is asking for problems.

I have this issue as well. Updated to Insider build 14342 and lost all progress. Acted like it was run for the first time when I opened Forza. Also, I have a (probably) related issue that Forza is installed, and if I navigate to the app or use the store to open it, it works, but if I try to use the Xbox app to open it, the Xbox app says it is not installed and that I have no achievements etc, which apparently got reset along with the game. Finally, it ran fine for me before the update (with the exception of frequent hangs when loading Rio in the Tour), but I’ve had stuttering and stops during gameplay since the update and hanging on loading tracks where it wasn’t an issue before.
edit: i5-4590, GTX 970, 8gb ram, run off of San Disk Ultra II 500GB.
I can confirm that after 14342 update, on the slow ring, I lost all my progress in Forza, please help, I love the game but this is a huge problem, as the saves should be in the cloud, right!!!
