I’m sorry man, but I don’t know if there is a way of solving the issue…probably you will be forced to start everything from the beginning.

Try this:
Go to Xbox Settings and scroll over to remove accounts.
Remove(Delete) your GT from your Xbox.
Hold your Xbox button on console for 10 seconds (full power reset)
Wait a few minutes then power your console
Reload your GT onto your Xbox.
Load Forza.
Similar thing happened to me before and this worked. Hope it does for you too.
