Losing FFB and control on PC

I lose FFB and complete control of my wheel for a second or two anytime the mouse moves or a button is pressed on the keyboard. This is causing problems with racing others.

That’s not a problem of the game.
Why do you even move the mouse while driving or pressing a keyboard button?
I can’t imagine how this should happen while driving with a wheel lol.

It happens very easily when your mouse is on the same platform as the wheel and things shake when you go through chicane. It shouldn’t happen at all. Why not help me with my problem instead of that reply.

Same here, if I change volume I loose ffb a little while, and if the game looses focus for any reason, like tabbing out of it, I have to restart the game to get it back.

Win 11
Thrustmaster T300 wheel

Didn’t use to happen before Update 13, but I also changed Windows versions at the same time so I cant’ be sure it’s the update. I actually came here to report it.

I guess I should mention I’m on Logitech g920 and windows 11. No problems on any other racing game.

I found this on reddit in regards to ACC, but he described it in the exact same way so I thought I’d give it a shot and it worked for me.

had the same problem, nothing fixed it, but then i asked someone in my server for a solution and it worked.

Open Services window by either

1a) Pressing Win + R, paste services.msc and enter

1b) Or open Start Menu search for Services

  1. Find “GameInput Service”, double click it

In the window that opens, set Startup type to “Disabled” then right click GameInput Service in the services.msc and click “stop”

Thanks for your help. I tried this and it’s already stopped. No ability to click stop.

Just put your mouse on less sensitivity while racing or turn it upside down?
There’s no other possibility to fix it other than removing the sensor from the vibrating surface.
I have the mouse on the same desk as my wheel base and it’s a 9nm wheel, i never had this issue.
That’s why i replied like i did in the first comment.
