Hi,
Can anyone help me with some tips or guide for tuning car with wheel.
Got some tunes that work ok with controller but not for my wheel and not enough tuningknowlodge to know what exactly is wrong or what to change.
Thanks.

Hey, I got a tx wheel back in april, and it took a little while to adjust to it. tuning with a wheel has the same effects as tuning with a controler, but driving feels a whole lot more realistic. for me, one of the largest problems was handling understeer. understeer is when you turn the wheel, but the front wheels lose grip, and the car continues going straight. you can partly avoid this by messing around with the camber, springs, anti-roll bars, and the differential. even a perfect tune won’t get rid of understeer, or oversteer for that matter.it has largly to do with the way you drive, if you can get a perfect line and hit evry apex, it will be hard to notice under or oversteer. also, driving one car more often, will allow you to adjust to that car, and make it easier to drive. eventually, you will be able to pinpoint what’s wrong, and get the perfect car.
Yes thanks. I got most problem with getting rid of to much oversteer wen i try to use the tunes i used with controller on a wheel.
My setting for wheel at the moment are 540 sensitive 2 normal steering no assists.
For in mutiplayer controller is just fine, but for rivals i would like to use my wheel, is going to take some time to get used to.
hi there,
iam not a great tuner nor good driver, but i try to help you out.
there are many valid ways to set up a car. maybe i can give you an idea where to start from. (only RWD cars)
2.25bar when hot must be 32,5 psi if im right
-1.0°/-0.5°
0°/0°
7°
1/40 start value. make the front stiffer after finding the right rebound, you will notice if its to high
130%/120% from default value (allways keep the rear a little softer compared to the weight distribution)
min. height
increase rebound slowly, but let it similar to the weight distribution (you are right when it feels like you are on rails)
set bumpers to 1 (i show you this way because you have to focus on lesser things, so its easier)
max. aero
50-55% try to make that the front tires lock before the rear do (use 2. telemetric view)
120-200% as much as you can handle
70-100%
5%
only change one thing at the same time and feel what happens.
to find the right spring rate and bumper/rebound value i use the 3. telemetric view wich is open most of the time when im testdriving.
try to aim that it looks like this in the corner. to reach this play with spring rate and front arb.
front rear

i hope you understand what i meant, even with my poor english. to learn more about tuning i recommend to read some guides, there are some good ones in the forum i think.
