I think you need all 160 stars on Blizzard Mt. to get gifted the Ram Runner HE. Probably pretty rare, I got mine from the AH ages ago.

Drift Taps kept me from ever getting 160 stars so I got mine from the AH.

You’re both right, but if you sell it you can’t get it again except for the AH 
I completed BM a long time ago and I don’t even remember when I sold it, but it’s gone.
I’d rather push a Chevy!
You can get two Runner HEs if you get the last star online. Easiest way is doing a speed trap in free roam.
I’m still looking for one.
I check the auction house several times a day but I can’t find one.
I’m willing to pay 20 million CR now.

Sure it can. Like the RX7 in the thread above yours, you can only get one in the game EXCEPT the AH where the Elite Scalpers can and do charge the maximum for it. Simple supply and demand at work. Do I like the 20 mil cost, hell no. I was able to do the Showcase a second time and got a second RX7 (don’t ask me how because I have no idea) but actually don’t even want the car as I am not a drifter. But I refuse to put it on the AH just so the Scalpers can snatch it up for pennies and turn it in to 20 million.

Yall make such a big deal out of legendary players charging their max for the car. Like why? Because they get 20m cr from it? Money is easy to get in this game, I’m currently sitting on 12m cr because I have nothing left to buy or upgrade to my liking. Plus, like stated multiple time(even in this thread!), the RX-7 is a freebie for doing a total of 2 hours(if that) worth of racing. AND you could get a second one from doing something online. Its not supply and demand when its a freebie, that goes against every facet of supply and demand actually because the car has no actual in game value, like how the DLC cars are free ONE time. If people are blind enough to shell out 20m cr, which they should be pretty accustomed to the game by that time to know better, then why shouldn’t people be able to put it up for sale at their max? It’s also ridiculous to chastise someone about how they play the game just because you see it as wrong. If you’re mentioning supply and demand then you should know that economics is a jungle. There will always be predator and there will always be pray.
So it is supply and demand, or it isn’t? Hard to tell which way you’re leaning on that fence post you’re on.

Not entirely sure where I gave the impression that this could be supply and demand, seeing as how the entire post was why it isn’t, but alright. This isn’t supply and demand because the “market” has a surplus supply of free RX-7s/RRHEs through in game progress. Since there is a set amount of the cars(the amount being all players and players who own BM respectively), the demand doesn’t fluctuate in accordance to the constant supply. The high prices are only due to the players being able to set them that high. There is no demand for a car that’s free, it’s not economically possible. I could go into further details, but you could probably understand better by taking an economics 2 class at your local college/university.
