First of all, I’m having R9 280 (non-X) which is already a trouble since AMD dropped support for old video cards (incl. 200 series). So the last driver I could have is 21.5.2 and the game recommends 21.10.1 or newer which I can’t install by any means. That’s already a deal breaker, I’m already tired of clicking “ignore and continue”. Maybe that’s what causes an issue.
Anyways, the issue. ALL logos on cars (incl. paint job logos or nameplates - on fenders, hood, trunk etc.) are enclosured in black rectangles. It looks like some issue with alfa-channel on background of these logos (since they’re PNGs I might assume), but I’ve never seen anything from other people. Revalidating game in Steam didn’t help me either.
Im having the same issue, logos have black backgrounds also plates are glitched, seems like its a issue related to AMD GPUs, as many others have the same problem with RX580 8GB (which is my gpu too).
Oh my gosh I’m so glad I’m not the only one experiencing this. Are you using the latest driver (just to make sure it’s not driver-related by all means)?
By the way, already submitted a bug report on Forza bug tracker. Hope they’ll fix it soon.
Sorry to see you all are experiencing the same issue. But on the other hand I’m glad it’s not a specific case of mine and people bothered about “Ignore and continue” too. So I hope it’ll be fixed soon.
No wonder I have seen this. I have an RX570 and have witnessed this graphical bug. Aside from that my game plays normally (60+fps 1080p Medium).
Hopefully they can find a fix for this minor issue.
OMG i’m so glad that have people with the same problem as me, I was thinking that this was a problem with my GPU
My specs are i5-6600, rx 570 8gb and 12gb of RAM
I have already reinstalled the game, switched to the HD and back to the SSD, so as I tested every graphical setting
No idea of why this is going on
I’ll report it on the bug tracker too
I’m running a Sapphire RX 5500 XT (8GB) and don’t have the issue but a friend with a different AMD GPU is having exactly the same problem as displayed above. Not sure if this is actually a Forza or AMD driver issue?
