Ive found this glitch when applying a livery where basically every 2nd livery will not save to “my designs”. Ive noticed it only happens on some vehicles. And i haven’t seen anyone complaining about it. Am i reaching here or is this actually a glitch?
What i would like from you is to try and replicate it and tell me if you’re getting the same problem. PC platform required! Mainly because i’m on PC . Ive no idea if console has the same issue. But if you’re a console player and wish to try and replicate it feel free. *Also please specify your platform in the comments
You can try with the follwing vehicles: Lamborghini Sian, Cupra Formentor VZ5 , or 2001 Audi RS 4 Avant (these are the ones ive found so far)
Here’s a video that i captured that will give you an idea of what you’re supposed to do:
The steps summarized:
-
Pick one of these 3 vehicles ( you can try all later of you wish )
-
Make sure you have a livery applied on it already or if you don’t go ahead and apply one, doesn’t matter which. (edit: if you have your own livery applied you’re going to need to download another one)
-
Now we’re going to apply the second livery, dont remove the old one or anything. Simply go to Designs and Paints - Find new designs tab - pick one. Use the recommended tab, dont use the search function. Pick a livery that you can find later just by looking at recommended
-
Now Go to Designs & Paints - Click on My Designs and normally you’re supposed to see your new livery saved there. If you’re seeing it then its fine, if not continiue.
-
Now you’re going to strip your vehicle’s current livery. You do that by clicking " Restore Default Paint/Vinyls
-
Wait till it loads up and your car should be back to stock paint
-
Now go back to Designs & Paints - Find New Designs - And find the design that you previously picked and apply it
-
Go back to My designs and your livery should be there
If you’ve reached this far then you’ve succesfully completed my scientific test. Feel free to share the results below.
As a bonus here’s another clips of the other 2 cars:
