It’s a bit of a pain to have to quit races due to my wheel resetting each time I send a message or join a party when using the wheel so any know if it’s been updated or whether its going to?
Not an issue with Forza, but with the wheel itself. Logitech released a firmware update a few days ago that resolves the issue.
You will need a PC with one of the following versions of windows to do the firmware update: Vista/7/8/10

Does this update actually fix the wheel rotation from resetting? If only it worked with Windows XP as that is all I have (Mac user). Wish they would do drivers for Macs.
Yes it does, not had an issue with it since I updated the firmware. On top of that, the wheel feels massively different in the likes of Dirt rally and Assetto corsa on the PC also, a very good and welcome different. They have fixed more issues than I was even aware there was with this firmware update.
As for making it work on Macs, they are not really considered a gaming platform. So it makes sense that none of the wheel manufactures make software for Mac. There are barely any games that release on Mac, with most been games such as ‘The Sims’ or something along those lines.
I would suggest buying a cheap second hand netbook with windows 7/8/10 on it, as they can be purchased from secondhand shops under a £100. Alternatively, there is the Lynx 1010B 10 inch tablet, which has windows 10 installed. It is around £130 on amazon at the moment, and has a full sized USB port on it. That should be capable of updating the firmware on these wheels, and it is portable.

Yet suggesting he spends good money on something he doesn’t really need when he can just borrow a laptop from a friend would have been more helpful to him. Or worse case scenario if he has no access to a borrowed laptop get one from amazon update the wheel and return it for a full refund.
Would be nice if you could update with a Mac at least. I know they aren’t used for gaming, but for someone like me who only uses the wheel on the Xbox it’s annoying. Would be great if you could also update it through the Xbox One.
I couldn’t find a thread that was for the logitech g920. Scrolling thru 40 pages in the wheel sticky is pretty agonizing to say the least. Specially when most of the discussion is about thrustmaster.
I thought maybe we could have a thread that is easily found thru “search” for the logitech g920 in particular. Mainly to help those in the market and comparing wheels, or just for info between current wheel users. (issues, logitech customer service, settings you run your wheel at etc.) When I was on the market the past few weeks, it would of been great to find a thread like this.
I currently just got mine today. Pretty excited to see how bad I’m going to suck considering its my first FFB wheel I have owned.
Hopefully I don’t get skull dragged for this post. Lol I searched for a thread for the wheel and could not find anything.
