I received a Logitech G920 steering wheel for Christmas and was excited to get stuck into my favorite game. Unfortunately the game is unplayable and for the life of me I cant seem to find settings that improve the game play. I have used the steering wheel on Project cars and it is perfect with no adjustment at all although I would really like to play FH3 with the same enthusiasm. Most of the settings I have found on this forum are related to pc, there has been slight improvements but not enough for me to feel confident in playing online again. Am I going to have to admit defeat and stick to the controller for this game or is there a magic configuration I’m missing. Any advice is appreciated.
I’m on PC man, but totally in the same boat. pCARS is insanely good and FH3 is total crap!
I can’t drive for 100 metres without crashing.

I don’t know why you have problems with the G920, i’m Using it with pcars, ac and fh3/fm6 apex on pc and all works good, i use the same wheel on my console to play fm6 and fh3 with no issues at all…
I’m very happy that you don’t have any problems but that doesn’t exactly help my case or any of the many other people having the same issue. Maybe you could submit your ffb settings for consideration. I appreciate your input all the same.
Dude sorry to say but I would be returning it if I was you. I bought one a few months ago and had the exact same issues it was very tricky to get it working and I had it working ok-ish but it wasn’t anywhere near as good as the people I see on YouTube with how theirs works.

Here’s what I did to fix it (copied from my comment on YouTube)
Yeah I did fix it but it only works for PC no Xbox One for me. This video you commented on is actually a recording of me drifting with the wheel so it is much better and I can do corners now.
Plug wheel in update drivers then load up the program and click on the wheel, click drop down menu and change the properties of it. Change them to this
-AXIS PROPERTIES (Steering Wheel):
Sensitivity: +50%
Wheel Operation Range: 900
Centering Spring Strength: 80%
check 'Allow Game To Adjust Force Settings
(Those settings are what people recommened me on the forza forums but I changed the sensitivity to 100% because it felt better for me when drifting.)
Go in game and for the steering option they say to make it Simulation but it worked better on Normal for me.
I was drifitng in a 400HP / 300KW car and it was pretty good, it was hard to start off but I got pretty good at it. Just so you know this didn’t fix it perfectly for me the wheel still felt a bit stiff but it worked well enough to drive and enjoy the game.
And for the in game settings I don’t think I changed anything. I might have lowered the vibration because it was annoying and I played using 900 degrees wheel but a lot of people set it to 450 for drifting but I liked 900. ALSO In the wheel settings on the program I changed the sensitivity to 100% it felt better for me.
