I’m currently having a lot of fun playing FH3 but when it comes to drifting I’m having trouble pulling it of with my g920 wheel, with a xbox controller I find it way more easier because you can flip the wheels in no time to opposite lock.
Do you have any tips on drifting with a racing wheel?
“throw” the wheel, dont try and hand over hand to catch the oversteer, unless you run a VERY low degrees of rotation you cant do it quick enough.
With practice you will learn how much to throw it and when to catch it. Then comes the difficult part, straightening the wheel out fast enough as the drift fades off, I am still struggling with this one thought if im honest.
Thanks for the tip, I will give it a try, I need to adjust my wheel settings though, now I need to much force to rotate it
Was wondering if you ever found settings you liked? I had the G920 for a few days and the wheel was almost impossible to turn, let alone throw it. I returned it under the assumption that because the wheel didn’t turn, but was wondering if you found settings that made it easier.
Logitech does not have support for the g920 and fh3 yet.
I have been having issues with my wheel moving and shaking at low speeds, so until they support and update I guess it’s just case of adjusting and making do with what we have
