Locations and Map

The map of Horizon 3 has tried to display too many landscape types in too small an area. So that there were actually 4 small maps.
FH2 was homogeneous and somehow you always felt like you were moving in a Mediterranean area.
In FH4 again, the developers have created a more homogeneous Map.
But just my 2 cents

would anyone be able to tell me where Croft dale farm house is??

Glen Rannoch I think

Has anyone found a petrol station? Trying to find one to park at and take some pics.

Where is the Scottish Parliament building ?
It’s at the end of the Royal Mile, that’s where, right next to the Palace of Holyrood House.

Not in this game.
Is there a reason they were both excluded?

It’s like having London as a map and leaving out the Palace of Westminster and Buckingham Palace.

When win10 shows this as a lock screen

and suddenly I am certain it is from England, even if I’ve never been there, because FH4 looks exactely like that. Turns out i’m right.
The mountain ingame with the gravel roads with wood sticks on the side, the shelter, short grass, a pond here and there, naked rocks, and remnants of snow in spring. Can’t match the real deal, but close enough to trigger memories of the alps in my case. Made me willing to turn off the PC and rush there.
I’ve seen far too little of England to accurately compare, but the designers really nailed the environment. It feels european, I can relate to the french countryside or forests in the general looks when I freeroam, but the details and the architecture tells that it’s somewhere else.

Or, when a game makes you want to wander out rather than play it.

Greetings, fellow forum browser. I come to you today on account of a rather unique discovery I’ve accidentally made, and would like some help expanding on.

After bailing on a winter online adventure, I soon loaded back into the main game in Spring only to find myself on the lake’s floor. Makes sense, since I was on the frozen lake at the time. And after driving around under the water for a bit, I made an interesting discovery. From what I understand, there’s some form of Land Bridge hidden just under the water connecting the islands. I didn’t get to explore it much before I was reset onto the road, unfortunately. I can’t recall exactly where it is, but my guess is that it’s somewhere West of the Whitewater Falls Danger Sign, if not Northwest. I’ll keep searching, and if anyone else finds this land bridge, do us a favor and post it in the comments, will ya?

Please PG make the icons of finished events to be shown in grey on the map. I am tired from switching the map filter. FH3 map is more friendly to a user in this aspect.
