I’m one of Forza enthusiasts in Japan. I’ve been playing since Forza Motorsports 4 and Forza Horizon on Xbox 360 and loving them.
I’m here to send feedback my impression about the localization of Forza franchise these days. I’m lad if you read this in not-well English.
I’m sad because there’re no Japanese voice in game but only subtitles in Japanese language.
And most annoying is that these subtitles are hard to unedrstand for Japanese.
Since Forza Horizon 3, subtitles area are very small and scroll automatically so can’t show one sentence at a time.
This is hard to read for Japanese people because Japaese is the language that verbs are at the last of sentence.
So we can’t unederstand the whole meaning of asentence untile we read at the end of it.
Forza Motorsports uses very long sentences and difficult words about cars so we want to understand them carefully.
That is why we have difficulty with this subtitle style, small area and auto scrolling.
We wish subtitles would have more space to show one or two sentences and scroll each of them.
The best solution is still you bring back Japanese voice.
