first off, apologies if i’m putting this under the wrong topic but i didn’t know where else to put it, and i thought the forums would be the best place to ask for help since i can’t in the discord.
my most downloaded livery has just disappeared off my creative hub, with no enforcement message, no notice, and really for no reason because there is absolutely nothing against the rules about the livery. it’s by far the one i get most attention from and i was really just wondering why it vanished. it’s also still shared. any help would be appreciated!
i just took some some more. this is the exact file that’s shared. i don’t see how anything is wrong with it, and even if there is, why would it just now be a problem after 28k people download it
Same thing happened to one of my liveries. I opened a ticket, and they reported the bug to devs and closed the ticket (sound familiar?). Anyways, I still have the livery in my library, but unshare/reshare does nothing to restore it. I ended up just replicating and republishing a copy (and yeah, I had over 8k downloads and would have been in the recommended list, but now it’s buried).
same thing happened with a friend of mine and actually said you helped him out with it . his got resolved fairly quickly as well too so i was hoping reaching out on the forums would maybe help me. sorry this happened to u too, i hope this doesnt keep happening and they can show back up soon
I had this happen to me with a couple of mine. It was quite a while ago but from what I can remember I raised a ticket, I heard nothing back from it but a few weeks later it was back again.
One thing you could try is to unshare then re share it. As long as you only do that and don’t change anything on it at all it should re share with the exact same code and all the same downloads uses and likes that it had previously.
I think I did this with at least one if not both of mine.
This is a thing since launch, I had one of the most popular liveries for the 2021 Bronco on launch in the first 24 hours and then at 22k downloads it was gone.
Forza support answered just like you said.
Please upvote this and share it with anyone you know affected while we investigate. Having the list of gamertags will help the investigation, as well as the share codes of liveries affected.
Same problem here and also my case was 3 years ago (on launch day or the day after for ultimate edition) and also i was banned once so the design would not be there either way just that you know @T10ManteoMax
Thanks for your response. Sorry, I’ve looked in my local design library and shared liveries if I could find it, but I’ve deleted that livery. (It was a very simple Porsche logo on a Porsche)
wow this is a pretty frequent issue i see then. i didnt realize how often it happened, it can definitely be pretty frustrating especially for people like me that are sooooo close to a download milestone
today i got back on the game and checked it again, and voila, it magically appeared back on my creative hub. this is my first game uploading designs that got as much attention as they are now so i was a little upset to see my biggest one kinda fall off the face of the planet.
we’re all good now, so for future reference i guess raising a little attention to it on the forums can help.
Thanks for investigating this. Like some others here my liveries that disappeared from my hub did re appear, a few weeks later I think, so it’s not an issue for me just now.
Also it wasn’t a case that they completely went. I still had them in my designs and they still showed as shared but they just weren’t there on my hub so couldn’t bee seen or downloaded by anyone else. Another thing that occurs to me now is that the paints that disappeared for me were two of my most downloaded so that is how I noticed they’d gone but if was to happen again to any of my lesser downloaded paints I’d probably never even notice.
