I know this will wrongly be moved to the Suggestions Hub again, but I’m reporting this anyways, since it’s an unfathomable bug/oversight by the developers that’s still existent after Patch 16.
Description: During gameplay, both the headlights and taillights of the cars remain turned off in foggy conditions. This issue affects visibility and realism, making it challenging to navigate the tracks safely.
Steps to Reproduce:
Start a race in Forza Motorsport.
Select weather conditions with fog or play current BMW Tour (Race 2 of 4 > Spa)
Observe the cars’ headlights and taillights, and note that they remain off throughout the race.
Expected Result: Cars’ headlights and taillights should automatically turn on in foggy conditions to improve visibility and enhance the gaming experience.
As realistic as it gets. It is truly built from the ground up and gives us the chance to witness cars bravely racing through thick fog with their head- and taillights turned off. Kudos to the developers.
What is most egregious is that this issue is not regarded as a bug or oversight that requires immediate attention, but rather as a mere suggestion, since the previous thread on this issue was moved to the Suggestions Hub some time ago.
I truly believe the developers intention was to replicate real life as accurately as possible. As we all know, a car’s lights can only be used during specific times of the day, not when the driver requires them due to rain, fog, etc.
Sarcasm off.
For me personally, this is one of the biggest turn-offs the game has as far as realism. It’s beyond me that the devs don’t go to the time and effort to fix this.
