Lexus IS 350 F sport 2014 - engine sound

Engine sound for this car is completely wrong lexus engines are quite meaty in sound not ike a bumble bee

Yeah, the GS350 F Sport also has the same engine sound, and it sounds horrible :frowning:

This issue is new-to-Forza in FM. The Lexus IS350 F Sport in Forza Motorsport has a ridiculously inaccurate engine sound. It’s definitely not a recording of a factory stock 3.5 V6, it’s too loud and too high pitched, and it wouldn’t even qualify for a straight-piped VQ sound as its tone is completely different. The real stock 3.5 V6 sound is much quieter and a bit lower in tone.

Even in previous Forza games it was portrayed much more accurately. Here is Motorsport 6

Gonna provide its wrong sound in FM, in case JetPartySalad will ask so the devs can observe the problem.

My God, it’s exactly like you said, it sounds like a straight piped VQ35 indeed!

Btw, my friend who moved to the US owned this Lexus IRL. What a shame the devs did to this.

This Lexus IS’s 3.5 V6 is 2GR-FSE (same with the GS in-game), made by Toyota themselves. Both FM6 and FH3 got a decent sound for it.

I’m afraid this won’t get any attention unless it’s in the troubleshooting car issues section. It should be an easy fix considering it sounds like the old audio file is still there. If you listen closely the base engine sound is there, but some whiny, high pitched kazoo sound is overlayed at a much higher volume.
