Quick question, when you level up does it warn you if you already have the car that is up for grabs when you can select between the 50k, car, or driver gear? TIA
Until you’ve collected all cars, the cars offered in Milestone Rewards are models that you don’t currently own. After you own all the models available in Buy Cars, I’ve seen players report that duplicates are offered but there’s no indication that you own that model.
When I got down to around 30 cars available to buy that weren’t in my garage, the Level Up rewards became mostly repeats with one “new” car every 4-5 choices.

This stopped being true for me when I got to around 640 or so cars.
Now every single car that has been offered as a level up reward has been a duplicate. But there are still cars that I could buy and don’t have.

You can get duplicates if you save up your level rewards for a long time. I saved up around 50 rewards and I was getting duplicates of cars I already owned, but I think if you just level up, then you do get a car that you don’t have. I just bought my last car last night, so now I only get duplicates. As for checking to see if you have a car, just click on the car before you accept it, and it should say something like “you already own this car and won’t get any collector level from it.”
I was offered a car I already had when I doubt I had more than 300 cars so long before I’d collected all the cars. I did also get the warnings that I had it and I would not get the points. My discount on the car also dropped from 400k to 100k.
When you select the car it will warn you that your collector score won’t go up because you already own the car. At that point you can buy it anyway or back out and select the money or the driver suit.

You can click on the car and when it opens up for the buy option you will be advised that your Collector Score will not be counted because the car is already in your garage. You can just ESC out of it and take the CR. It can get caught in a loop and offer you cars you already own even if there are unlocked cars you don’t own yet or you have purchased some through the AH

Thank you everyone for all the help. I have been worried every time I select the car that I’m getting a duplicate but apparently I can rest easier now because I will get some kind of warning.
I know I’m a bit late to this, but yeah, it lets you know if you already own the car. I own all the buyable cars so the rewards have begun repeating, which kinda sucks because I remember seeing the Monte Carlo FE as a reward at some point. I know collection rank affects what cars show up but I’m stuck at 41 because of the repeat cars in the specialty dealer, I’ll hopefully rank up once the forzathon eventually opens up.
You should have got the Monte FE at around level Up 276 which I took at the time so have not seen it again.(FE’s will only be offered once) but if someone didn’t claim it then might show again It seems to get caught in a tier and keeps rotating until you buy them. I started sticking them in rewards and was around 30 waiting when it started offering triplicates I had it in garage and rewards and there it was at level up again. In the end, I just went a got the last 7 cars from the Car Collection and took the 50K x 30 via rewards. I think I am at 42 now but from 41-42 took forever
I had both the Bugatti and Monte Carlo FE previewed as my Next Reward as I leveled up but when the collection points for the just rewarded car were added to my collection points I changed Tier and the next reward changed from the Unicorns to something more mundane. I’ve never seen them since. I’m Tier 40 driver level 441
Due to the issues and glitches, I wasn’t prepared to do the Sebring 300 in Career and I had completed everything else but that one event so it was a little annoying. I was getting offered the higher end cars without VIP fix so it was a bit of a grind and had to pass on quite a few. Most that I had passed on come back around but the second I finished the Sebring I got about 100 Level ups that the first lot and many of were tier 1 or 2 cars then ones I already had and was missing 9 cars, only two showed up after many more LU and in the end as I noted above I just went and got them from Car Collection coz life is too short. I thought the tier could be linked to your Career behavior because I finished the Forza Cup first after the first rounds to unlock each category and it went straight to tier 5 which is not helpful getting offered 1 mill cars when you have 100’000 CR to your name. With the benefit of hindsight if I was doing the Career again I would start at the left and work through each section. I see the Bugatti’s all the time so they will come up again even if you own them and want extras
Not exactly sure how many cars I’ve got (LVL 32) but I’ve never been offered a duplicate yet. When I do I’ll probably just take the Driver Suits, hoping to get to the point where it offers mods instead.
Take the 50K then head to Prize Crates and get yourself 2 Driver Suits @ 25K each. I am at LU 653 and haven’t seen a mod card yet, however, the same thing I take the 50K and buy 1 Expert and 1 Master crate
I agree, unless you can get a 400k car for free. Put it on the AH for 200k, and you will make roughly 160k from that car. People will gladly buy a 400k car for 200k. If you want to get greedy you can put it up for 300k, but I have less luck selling those cars quickly.
