Let's GO! livestream Friday Sep. 8th | Horizon Creatives update (Series 25)

Unfortunately true. I’ve been patiently waiting for the '57 Thunderbird for years, & got so excited to see it in the game files, yet we have no updates on it since the leak. Still cautiously optimistic, however. I wouldn’t be so cynical given how many good updates we’ve gotten recently.

Honestly, already so burnt out from the mind-numbing 40 point chore lists of the same, repetitive tasks over the last few weeks, haven’t even been interested in logging in to start yet another round of it. At this point, I’m about ready to just let it all flush through to the AH, pick them up later (if then) & save the aggravation. Particularly since it sounds like we are about to go through it all over again.
For me, trying to stay engaged by choice rather than force, is once again, becoming one of the biggest challenges.

It’s too bad the playlist can’t be used as an option to get the cars for free. Put the actual cars in the autoshow and the playlist be a “free” option.

I’ll never get used to the grills, but the rest of it is nice and it’s cool we’re finally getting this.

Nice, glad to see we still get new cars added. I’m always a bit concerned that with the new FM coming (granted it’s a separate dev, but from a company focus standpoint) and FH5 itself getting up there in age, that it’s going to end up with just repeats.

I wouldn’t mind a couple of recycled cars. I’m still waiting for the BMW 850, the Porsche 928 and the MB 280 SL for example.

@KnightOfRen8514 and @AnakalaRon I got you covered.

Get your…

…at your local…

Ah, yes. The pignosed BMW that doesn’t even need the pignose for functionality.

There will probably be 40 points worth of chores in store for next season.
Because The Crew Motorfest is launching this month. The car list and physics in this game are not good enough to rival Forza. However, it is one of its biggest competitors as an open world AAA racing game.

They will try to keep us in this game a little bit so that people don’t play this game and commit the cardinal sin of reducing FH5 user engagement.

In 3 days! Pre-orders launch september 11th, the game officially releases the 14th. I’m thinking of getting it. Not sure if the pre-order Ultimate Edition is worth €120 tho…

I went with the Gold Edition. Ultimate only adds two pre-modded cars of already existing models with unique underglow, tires etc. Not worth 20€ imho.
Judging by the playtests & beta the handling improved immensly, the car sounds of many cars are above Horizon but the smaller map kinda killed the “Crew feeling” you had in the first two titles. Would’ve preferred all the physics & sound improvements on the old big US map with more details.

I also pre ordered the Gold Edition. Looking forward to early access on Monday. I played the open beta and agree that the handling physics have improved significantly from TC2, and the sounds are so good, much better than FH5.

Snapable dirt and asphalt? Need.

Stream running late?

Edit - stream is live now on both Twitch and YT

Yep and the Forza Monthly for September is “Private” when you try to access the YouTube link.

Missed start few minutes, new or existing cars for the new series playlist?

Well we have the BMW and Rivian update among us.

Was actually looking forward to seeing Rivian as one of the devs hinted at it awhile back.

Some new, at least one returning. Mostly BMWs. The G87 M2 is here as well.

And yes, we got not one but THREE pignosed BMWs, @Runoff1999

The iX is extremely awful to look at. You can look around and realize that literally no aspect of this car screams stupidity. Complement that with the ugly grille they’ve been using, plus a cumbersome door layout, and you’ve got a BMW that’s worse than the i3.

Corvette E-Ray is also there as well.
