I was still playing in 2008 Bob. I don’t even like Susan Boyle lol. I only painted it because everyone only ever paints stunning women and liked the idea of doing a Suboru. Sadly painting takes an age now but my son is very artistic and likes painting on Forza so hopefully I can teach him what I know.
I know what you are talking about . Some times painting really takes its toll on my eyes. Glad to hear you are passing on your knowledge to a new generation. P.S. that was why I commented on the Susan Boyle design, you went outside the box and did something different. Very cool.
Here is a picture of Zoe Saldana. It has taken 4 months to paint and currently before. I cut any layers out it stands at 731 layers. I think I can get at least 50 layers cut from the image and have a few logo’s to make. The finished car will be available from the AH when it’s finished. Photos for some reason always look a lot brighter when uploaded than in game. Thanks for looking.

@Jaaaaaaandaaaaa. I have far too many games that I own and have not played yet on the retro console to justify getting a console where I can’t use the triggers on the joy pad. I come close to buying one but then tried it out and hated the joy pads and you can’t use the 360 joy pad. Never say never though. will be good to chat as it has been an age. Hope the wife and little one are well and your son too. lmao

Thanks Bob. There is a change of plan on the sales side of things. I will not be putting cars in the AH with buyouts. Anyone that wants a copy of the car will need to post in this thread and I will contact them at the weekend to arrange for them to collect their car for 10k with a B class tune. After the weekend the car will go in the AH at random times with no buyout.

Lee, been following your work here just not posted yet. I would be very interested in acquiring one of these. I hired BOB to come over a sweep a spot in my garage too! lol. (Thanks BOB). Lee, I think your vision has made you a better painter than most, we are all busy looking at the big picture while you focus on the small picture…most likely in a huge way. Very nice Lee - I’d say it took you long enough, but coming from me, you’d die laughing.lol. There was something bothering me about the underside of her nose, but I said to myself, ’ Lee’s so anal he’d never mess something like that up’ - and so I checked google images, and lo and behold, the picture is just as you painted it. I also love the way you’ve got the CK logo tied into the design, seeing as the photo is from a CK underwear shoot. Anal obsessives of the world unite! lmao.

Thanks to everyone that has shown an interest in the car and I am glad you like it. I have now sent messages over live to everyone about collection.
@Doodley. The eyesight is only a problem with how long it takes me to paint. I used to be able to paint an image in a couple of days or sittings where as now it takes a lot longer and I can lose interest.
@BlowingFinman. lmao at the “it’s taken long enough” I am not as OCD as I used to be. I always try to use logo’s that are relevant to the image. As for the Anal obsessives of the world unite, I think that is a car that will get me banned. lmao
