Wonder how many messages they get about their level. I 've got them occaisionally from ~lvl 400.
Lvl. 400? Geeze, know what the sun looks like?
Yeah, I get a good view of it on Spa!
God, lvl. 540 have any kind of life?
Sorry, someone played a cruel joke and put superglue on my wheel. I’ve been stuck here since lvl. 23. Can you help?
Easily doable? He is over 4x your level. If by “a couple” of hours a day, you mean 2, that means he plays 8 hours a day. In that same period of time, I’m making a day’s salary. I’d say that’s not quite easy unless you’re an addict, or don’t have a life.
A lot of people have a lot of different addictions, and this guy could have numerous reasons for playing as much Forza as he obviously does. He could be long-term unemployed as I am, with having a console and the game as his only luxury in life, or he could be ill or disabled in some way, making Forza one of his only/easiest ways to communicate with the world. As for his reasons to be at this level, I’d say he doesn’t need any. Just like people don’t need to give others any reason as to why they spend all day on Facebook, watching soaps, playing MMORPGs and the like on their computer, or anything else that is not the “norm” of working a full day.
lol. its just like when achievments came out. anybody lower was a noob and should give up. anybody higher was a nerd and needed to get a life.
i can get 8 levels and hour playing. it would take me about 650 hours. the game has been out about 6 and a half months so 100 hours a month or about 3 hours a day. you could earn a days salary? so money? he’s already paid for the xbox and the game. think of all the money hes saved useing what he already spent money for rather than going to the movies or a bar. he’s saved days salaries in that time. if multiple family members are playing on the account it could be an hour and a half each per day or less if more than 2 people play. no need to bash the poor guy. let him live his life how he wants, he’s not hurting anybody doing it.
sure. you have to remember some families got used to playing under a shared gamer tag because live was per account and not per xbox before this gen. even if its only 2 people that would be 2700 levels per person. when the game 1st came out i played it obsessively. if i continued playing it like that till today i would probably be ahead of this account solo. talked to a guy last week that only has 8 manufacturers left to max out. his level is gonna be way up there. ocd runs in my family. its not that rare in the general public. anything can become a habit, a compulsion, an addiction. and when you get trapped in that mode you’ll do it long beyond when it was fun. you continue even when it becomes work, you’ll skip eating and sleeping for it.
i cant imagine the stack of credits that guy has to be sitting on with nothing to spend them on.
“Naming and shaming” is against ToS. So if I said “insert random GT is a cheater! You should all report him!” I would get moderated. Posting a picture of a GT and saying ‘Dang! Look at his level!’ is a grey area. Though I personally wouldn’t want forum members acting jealous and questioning me if this was my achievement…
Think I average less than 1H/day playing Forza 5. Got a j.o.b., a girlfriend, a social life, a sportscar to drive and my pets to take care of. Still, even with some time spent on the game, I’m nearing level 600 just from enjoying what the game/devs have to offer in terms of challenges, timed races and career. No tokens/boosts used.
Obviously, this player has spent a lot of time on this game already. I’m also betting (s)he used tokens for the Level Accelerator boosts. I’m still below level 200 as of this posting… LOL
