I’m still new to this game and have been playing for a few months now and am still playing with how to “tune” each car and am tired of buying pre-built tunes then can’t “fine tune” them which is my issue. I’ve watched numerous videos about it but none go in depth per car and is just a general explanation. But I just bought the Koenigsegg Regera after watching a few videos on it and is nothing like what I saw? Even after buying all new parts and upgrading as much as possible it still isn’t working for me. I can’t get it to reach its top speed, slides all over the place and even with traction controls, etc turned on = same thing. So am,trying to find help on what “tuning area” I should focus on.
Hi mate,
Firstly, I am no tuner. Secondly, I’m having similar problems with this car (and I suspect will be similar problem with other hypercar tunes). I usually use the app Forza Tune 7 to get a base tune and then tweak the values as I need after a few road tests. Because the Koenigsegg Agera RS has no option to upgrade the engine I am unable to see the Torque and RPM graph I need to find the max torque & RPM values the app requires for gear tuning. I am not sure what my options are to get these values ?? I have swapped the drivetrain to AWD and have adjusted the suspension, I just need to fix the gearing. So I guess… Please help too ?
The Geartuning wont help with the grip, but anyway…
Tune the first gear on the street(you dont want the tires to get so much grip as possible, without geting the rpm dropp after starting),after that, just bring the other gears together, based on what top speed you want to achieve(basicly, depends on for what track you tune the car).
If the tuning for gear 1 doesnt work so well, because of lack of gripp,it could be because of a to soft suspension on the backtires.
If you post your build I can help you out with the tune.
Regera is not a good car on FH4 on FH3 is good because you full tune and gets 988 on FH4 you cant full tune and keep S2 theres only 1 gear you just tune the final ratio(i forgot the name) you need to use max downforce and differencial around 95 acceleration 85 deceleration on RWDs the difference of accelaration and decelaration should be max 20% more than this make the car instable i recoment set max speed to 400 kmh ~250 mph on start acceleration is low but after get around 100 mph acceleration is crazy if your wanting to use online on FH4 Agera is a better option
Yeah its not the most competetive one, and having no gears to shift really throws me off after not using it for a while since lol no engine break. The only problem i have is the suspension, seems like the Stock suspension already tends to bottom out, and it understeers, tried to fix it, but even with extreme spring and damper settings it still tends to bottom out, and it becomes unstable too but thats to expect with extreme settings. I dont get this suspension, its wierd.
What’s your build configuration?
Just use the values for the real life car: http://www.zeperfs.com/en/fiche6921-koenigsegg-agera-rs.htm
