Never thought I would see a Koenigsegg with a terrible car model in FORZA but no manufacturer is safe from hideous car models in FORZA.
The car model irked the moment I saw this car come back in FH4. Being an FM3 car model, the horrible proportions are fully at display in FH5.
First of all, the scale of the vehicle itself is incorrect. It is as if a die-cast version of the CCX was scanned and modeled for FORZA. With the inaccurate scale and dimensions comes some serious visual flaws.
-
The actual size and scale of the vehicle is extremely inaccurate. The Koenigsegg CCX is a very low-slung and wide car and is a stunner in proportions IRL.
-
The signature Koenigsegg wrap-around front, side glass and roof are inaccurate in shape and dimensions. They are much smaller/claustrophobic on the FORZA model, and together with the the roof, the car looks like it was stepped on.
-
The rear end of the vehicle is horrible in proportions. It is significantly narrower in width and somehow taller in height, only exaggerated by the poorly scaled taillights.
-
The shape, slope and length of the double-bubble roof is inaccurate and deformed. Very abrupt and narrow on the in-game model.
-
Just like the rear end, the front end of the in-game vehicle shows everything wrong with this car model. Inaccurately scaled headlights with a front end that is narrow in width and thin in height - creating that lifted, cheap kit-car look! It doesn’t help that the slope of the front end is incorrect.
-
The signature trim is very ugly on the FORZA model. It’s chromatic white on the in-game model?
That trim from the side vent to the rear bunker is supposed to be silver on cars with dark paints - and black if the car is painted in a brighter colors. -
The shape and scale of the Koenigsegg doors are very inaccurate. Like the rood and windshields, the door has a major presence in the car’s design and is larger in height and length in real life.
-
The Koenigsegg nameplate at the the end of the form wheel arch is inaccurate in size, shape and placement.
-
The upper vent in the rear bumper has a strange silver piece running through the length of the vent. It is not present on the IRL car.
Requesting to fully rescan and accurately remodel the 2006 KOENIGSEGG CCX.
Please respect your car models like the art they are since they are the main characters of your game. In case you didn’t know, this car is very gorgeous in real life due to its proportions and details. Just look at that width and silhouette!
