This issue has persisted since the first Forza Motorsport on the original XBox. The 1991 CRX has a painfully inaccurate 3D model, down to the version of the car. The in-game model is a weird combination of JDM CRX SiR exterior with USDM CRX elements, and JDM interior, has very incorrect dimensions, and doesn’t even have a single complete body kit.
The entire body is squished, too low from the bottom part of the car. It is also too boxy, the front end is not round enough, the shape of the front bumper is closer to that of the USDM CRX. Headlights feature USDM side markers, which are just not a thing on the JDM CRX SiR, and all orange lights are the wrong shade. Even the Honda emblem on the bonnet is stretched. All elements are also of subpar quality, especially panel gaps.
The rear end is, once again, too boxy. The small window above taillights is supposed to be ever so slightly curved on the top, but on the Forza model it isn’t. The factory SiR trim spoiler is nowhere to be found, even as a customization part. The taillight outline is supposed to be black, or at least a very dark red, but on the Forza model they’re the same red as most other parts of the lights.
The black plastic trim on the sides barely sticks out on the Forza model, which is incorrect. Side mirrors and door handles are incorrectly unpainted. The stock wheels are poorly modeled and display Normal Colours as somewhat metallic. And once again, the whole body line is ruined.
