The 2008 Koenigsegg CCGT is a one-off race car based on the CCX, initially designed and built to compete in the GT1 class race7. .
Just like the inaccurate and deformed car model for the 2006 Koenigsegg CCX in FORZA, the CCGT suffers the same fate.
Perhaps due to the horrendous FM2 car model, the car’s scale and proportions are fully off.
While the model was based on the prototype. The example that was sold to customer, which recently became eligible to race and was auctioned at Bonhams, is the right one.
The customer car is the most updated one and I believe the prototype exists somewhere at Koenigsegg’s factory.
Here’s a list of some of the visual flaws of the FM2 car model:
-
The front end of the car is inaccurate in shape, slope and width. This can be observed by the two Michelin badges on the bottom of the front bumper, and clearly shows the deformity. The front end is also much more upright on the FORZA model.
-
Just like the CCX, the shape, length and width of the signature Koenigsegg wraparound windshield, roof and side windows are extremely inaccurate. Even the rake, angle and overall proportions are off.
-
The scale and curvature of the front headlights are inaccurate. They seem to be awkwardly placed with the upright and somehow skinny front end.
-
The insides of the front headlight housing are supposed to carbon fiber and not black.
-
The size, shape and placemat if the doors are extremely inaccurate. They are somehow smaller and realky adds to the awkward promotions of the in-game vehicle.
-
The exhaust is placed in the wrong section of the rear bumper. They are supposed to be placed in the middle where the air vents are located.
-
The rear bumper is inaccurate in shake and size. It is supposed to just out a little compotes to the top of the rear end to allow for the exhaust and the diffuser.
-
Like the front end, the sacking of the rear taillights are incorrect. They are supposed to be larger and much more prominent.
-
The wheelbase is inaccurately skinnier in width and shorter in length. Along with the extensive race modifications, the car has a completely unique 5.0 liter V8 engine. No wonder why the rear fender and engine compartment sizing is off.
This low-slung track supercar is significantly wider than the already wide CCX, giving the race car and unmistakably aggressive look.
Just like the 2006 Koenigsegg CCX, requesting to fully rescan and remodel the 2008 Koenigsegg CCGT GT1 competition race car.
