Task for the cars are fairly simple as ever ( Win X race in X Car or Do X laps at X track ).
Task for driver gear seems more time specific though, it states " Start your day off right by completing a race in any ford ".
Did a race in a ford but challenge didn’t pop, however it wasn’t my first race of the day.
Guess when i log on game tomorrow/day after and do a race in a ford first it will, but worth bearing in mind.
Did a race in the Ford gt, forza gt car, that got the suit, and first progress on Vega. Wish I would have seen the next step was 3 laps, I only did two, so have no idea if one race would have got both awards now.
I raced earlier today, so that didn’t affect my first race of the day. Although it was before forzathon went live.

Scrap what i said earlier, it unlocked now while using GT Capri Turbo in league race.
For reference i was using hoonigan mustang earlier on. Guess game recognises it as F&F car but not a Ford as well.
yep sort of correct , it comes under Hoonigan as manufacturer, as do all the other cars in the hoonigan pack

What car? What track? What mode? Are you seeing some progress on the multi-step ones or not at all? Have you rebooted etc etc?

Last night I fired up my bedroom Xbox to run rivals. I had no rivals showing under any of the different areas. I also had no messages. Had this happen once before, I assumed my slow internet, so I quit game and restarted. That worked the first time.
I restarted game three times last night, no joy. Turned Xbox off, then on. My game score updated, but still no messages or rivals.
Powered down, unplugged for about 15 seconds and next time in FM7, my messages were back and rivals was good to go.
I like that it tells you, you’ve made progress on a given reward.
The AI with TCR cars are ridiculously OP on Mugello Club, lol. Not my favorite division despite some neat cars in it.
Nice start for the new system, it registers everything smoothly, even two or more challenges in one go.
you don’t have to race with any AI to win. I didn’t. Just set to no drivatars and circuit race
I can’t wait to unlock the Vega! My mom had one–a dark green one with the racing stripe. She loved that car. We all did.
I’d love to have one in real life. We’d have to replace everything, I’m sure, but it’d be a great project car.
The Vega turned out to be a little sweetheart of a car homologated and tweaked a little. It was worth the wait. It’s a marvellous alternative to the 2002 Turbo in the division, and quite the looker in Lime, too.

Most people would be happy that they are going to be more regular and change more often and get more unlocked cars than cry over pointless challenges on their xbox profile

Love this new system. The pop up notices are great and everything works without a hitch. Hopefully they do the same for Horizon 3. Not sure why people are mad about not getting them as “achievements” since they weren’t actually “achievements” anyway.
doubt they will change FH3 now , does work as it is supposed to every week, since it is pretty much done
usually user settings or errors when they don’t work
New system works much better than the old one.
Challenges are still lame and uninspired, but at least we get two of the cars I’ve been wanting since release in successive weeks.
