While us regulars who have been here for years will already know this, not everybody is as active on the forums or as up-to-date with the news and/or game updates.
The person that posted this thread for example has only made 5 posts in total. I think the question is reasonable considering not everyone checks the forums daily.
Correct me if I’m wrong but the July Update Announcement doesn’t include a specific time for the update to get rolled out; it’s simply coming “on Tuesday”. Although most updates drop at 18.00 BST that’s not always a guarantee.
Based on when previous updates have rolled out you should probably see it on your console at 18.00 BST / 10.00 PST. If you’re playing at the time you may want to quit out of Forza Motorsport 7 and use the option(s) on your Xbox/PC to check for a game update.
The time may vary however but once it is ready to go I imagine @ForzaMotorsport and @ForzaSupport will post an update on Twitter; they’re usually pretty solid on this.
Same time as June update, which was the same time as May update, which was also the same time as April update, which coincidently was also at the same time as March update, which again, was the same time as February update, which also was released at the same time as January update, as it came out pretty much the same time as every other update since Forza 5:
6PM GMT.
Next update will also be at 6PM GMT, and the one after that, and the one after that, and the one after that, and pretty much every other update.
In case someone isn’t as familiar with the difference in time zones, since we’re all currently in Daylight Savings Time (DST), both here in North America and in Europe, then BST is British Summer Time, one hour ahead of UTC (Universal Time), which means it is five hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time on the East Coast of North America, and eight hours ahead of PST (Pacific Standard Time) on the West Coast of North America. This translates to about an hour from the current time ---- as 18:00 hours BST is 6 pm there, which means 1 pm EST and 10 am PST, if that makes sense. Hope that helps you guys.
