Better still - just stop giving automatic wheelspin cars dumped into your garage.
It’s beyond a joke now. So many people reaching limits, at least 30 duplicates added automatically by doing the playlist yet they still throw wheelspin cars in there as well !!

Having max cars, 1000 in your garage prevents wheelspins from executing. It takes a little management but works.
An even simpler solution is… not starting up the game. I’d consider that as much preferential to your solution 
EDIT : fwiw my current method also seems to be working. I don’t do anything that would have a forced wheelspin applied so any wheelspins I do get ie only leveling up (and that only in freeroam) or reward for something that results in a wheelspin of Car can be optioned for cash on the spot. I still manage to get my 20pts a season for the fomo prizes. I’m sure this is exactly how the devs intended us to “play” the game 
I also try to avoid leveling up in online events - the whole reason why I asked them to reinstate the XP counter on the main menus. It’s hard to keep track of it otherwise.
I often get them when I lose track of how close I am to the next level up whereas before I always knew when I was in danger of another.
The whole not automatically giving wheelspins during online stuff has been going for a long time now but they still refuse to listen.
Even after you get one, after the event it still says you’ve won one even though it’s already been given.
Simple fix would be to stop immediately spinning them and save them for later.

Yet still the biggest fear I have in this game.
The hardest bit of the game by far is not getting that duplicate that I don’t want or can’t sell.
Don’t get why they don’t at least allow the resell option instead of getting it chucked into the garage with no say.
Same goes with playlist cars that I don’t want but still want to do the events.
30 duplicate cars per series getting thrown into your garage with no say if you want them or not is ridiculous when peoples biggest gripe is garage space having run out by this stage.
100% on that. Just give us the choice when awarding the car, just like the wheelspins in freeroam, for wheelspins in events, rewards for chores, whatever. That “you earned a wheelspin” message is especially stupid, after it has already been earned and applied without any choice. And I particularly hated when I missed the fact and what specific car had dropped and had to go trolling through the garage for the “new” car I now had to dispose of.
That was the whole sentiment. Give us the choice !
We EARN these cars whether it be in playlist events or random online event rank up wheelspins.
Why do we have to just delete them from the garage with no reward just to keep the garage space down ?
There’s more work in keeping your garage up to date than running the game.
As the Original Thread Topic says - Jeez - just give us the choice.
Do you not have one in your garage? If you don’t, the odds of getting them in a wheelspin go WAY up, especially for a cheap common car like that.
I would guess that they do have at least one in the garage - otherwise they wouldn’t complain about getting even more. I reckon by now Everybody has one.
Still getting multiple dups from wheelspins as well as multiple clothing, emotes and the rest.
It needs to stop !
It would be nice if the dupes were removed from wheelspins and other rewards, at least the ones that don’t count, like clothes, emotes, horns, forza links, and autoshow cars. Just replace them with a reasonable cash award. Of course, that’ll never happen. Just like I suspect we’ll never hear why or see some of the items that have long been promised as available on wheelspins or events.
Clothing, emotes, horns, links have never interested me but we still have to suffer them.
Just wish they’d realise that they’re giving a game to seasoned racers as well as the kids that like to dress up and (basically) look idiotic doing it.
Give the kids the rubbish with freebie downloads and let the actual racers play the game without all this nonsense.

Grow up. I don’t care that much about character cutomizing but it’s definitely nice that it’s there.
