JaCor653: 2015 Chevrolet and Honda IndyCar Press liveries, Five-Pack of Ford NASCAR Liveries

Hello and welcome to my gallery! I have been playing Forza since Forza 6, and have spent much time in the paint booth since then. However, I didn’t start painting publicly until Forza 7. I did one replica livery in FH3, the 2015 Audi TT Cup, but that was it. Now for the first time I am starting my own forum thread to showcase my public work in the paint booth.

The first design is, as I mentioned above, the only real replica design that I made in FH3 that I made available to the community. It is the Audi TT Cup. Here it is in F7:

Also, the 2018 Bentley Continental GT3, which was unveiled on November 9th. I had to make some slight changes so that the livery would suit the 2017 version of the car.

Nice and clean designs

Thanks. I like press liveries for a few reasons. I like the cleanliness and simplicity of few, if any, logos. Such liveries are less time consuming and complicated, as well.

My latest release is the 2nd-generation Audi R8 LMS Ultra, from 2015. I actually started this one back in May, in FH3, but never got around to finishing and sharing it until now. This paint job is shared in Horizon 3 and Forza 7.

Edit: I’ve got a tune for this car that replicates as closely as possible the actual car, but my game crashes every time I try to share the tune.

Today I’ve got something different for the gallery. This is Ford’s Fusion NASCAR Sprint Cup car press livery, available in the real world in white and matte black. I took the creative liberty of also making the livery in Ford’s Performance Liquid Blue, from the new GT and Raptor.

Thanks. I had a couple designs that were completely mine (the TT and the Bentley), and I thought, “hey, why don’t I make a gallery to show these off?” Around that time I found other liveries I could make myself. I started the Fusion NASCAR in FM6, and transferred it to FM7. I’ve got some more planned; I’ll be adding another paint job today.

Today we’ve got something very different to the other paint jobs in this gallery. This is a replica of Homer Simpson’s “70s sports car,” a vehicle that takes design cues from the Dodge Challenger, Plymouth Cuda, and Plymouth GTX.

This is Google’s promotional Self-Driving NASCAR livery, with some changes. I didn’t feel like making a Monster Energy Cup logo, so I left that part out. This is more of an “inspired by” livery instead of a replica.

For reference, here are some images of the actual car:

This is Chevrolet’s 2013 SS press livery, from the same time as the Ford Fusion liveries from previously. Both were released to introduce the “Gen 6” NASCAR; there is also a Toyota version, which will be coming later.

These are the first two of four custom 2018 Toyota Camrys built for last year’s SEMA show. Up first are the Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch editions, with racing numbers added because the base cars are race cars.

This is a “Stealth Model”-style livery for the Ferrari F40 Competizione. The livery is inspired by the Stealth Models from Gran Turismo 5 and 6, with unpainted carbon fiber body panels, black stripes, and white accents.

This is the 2018 Ford GT, with the exclusive Victory Edition livery. As of now, only a few GTs with this paint job are known to exist, and they belong to Raj Nair, president of Ford North America, as well as Bill Ford and Mark Fields. Now, anyone in FM7 with 445,000 credits can own this exclusive design themselves.

Nice job on the Ford GT Victory, I just started a WIP yesterday (in FH3). Annoying you can only have one colour at a time in metalflake/two-tone - I was going for the red and I see you went for the blue!

Yeah, I thought, “Why not just use the stock color as the base color?” The thing I find annoying is the texture mapping on the rear portions of this car. My livery looks pretty good, but when you look closely at the buttresses, the engine cover area, and the inner part of the fenders, it just looks horrible. I wish Turn 10 would fix that, but I doubt they will.

Yeah, I’d slapped a few squares down to work out what goes where. It’s complicated when there are multiple panels facing the same way one behind the other.

I wouldn’t mind seeing your version of the livery if and when you finish it.
