I've been restarted back to the beginning

I was just playing this game last night with no problems and today I turn it on and my whole career has been restarted, I have no cars in the garage (some of which were unicorns), and no in-game money. Am I the only one this has happened to or anyone else experience this?

Just a follow up…anyone have any idea how long it takes before I hear back about this issue? I’m currently not playing this game because I don’t want any “new saves” in case this issue can be resolved. I also don’t want to make progress and have it happen again since some other people in here have had that problem. I’m starting to feel like I wasted $100 on this unfinished pile of garbage.

I’ve had this happen to me twice now. After the first time (about 3 weeks ago), they gave me back all my VIP perk, Tier reward cars, Forzathon challenge cars, etc., and the cash equivalent for my car collection. They could not restore my career progress. I began playing again, sparingly, since there was no guarantee the game wouldn’t reset on me again. Sure enough, about a week later it did.

Apparently they are ‘working on it’, but I would stay away unless you are willing to restart your progress repeatedly. Very frustrating. They need to address this soon.

I agree completely. I’ve invested a lot of money and time into this game, and it currently sits unplayed because I’m fearing that the next time I start it up will be the time that my saves corrupt and disappear.

It’s really aggravating, to be honest, and I wish that they would provide something more than “We’re working on a fix.” How far along are they? Is there something that is causing a hang-up? Is there a mitigating factor or actions we can take to stave off losing our progress? I wish they would actually answer some of these questions. In a situation like this, “We’re working on it” isn’t good enough.

How long can it possibly take? Surely something this serious you would put all resources on straight away and stay on it till you have it worked out … very confused as to why it is taking so long really - must be one helluva problem - it has been A MONTH since this problem started affecting people.

My progress was reset 2 week ago. All I’ve had is an email saying ‘they’re working on it’.

No, no news yet and problem is certainly not fixed yet…but I did hear back from them. It was just the same blanket response everyone else got “thanks for feedback we’re investigating it”. I just started playing again anyways because I figured my game save is lost forever (due to what others are saying “the fix” is) and I’m not gonna not play a game I paid $100 for.
