It's almost a non-issue, but it totally hints at the lackluster state of FH5

Weird. I have a 5800X and a 3070, and the one and only time this game has ever crashed, was with an older driver, and the Ray Tracing turned on, which was a known issue for ages. Other than that, not a single crash issue.

Your quite right Anon,i should have said ‘dull and boring in comparison with the other seasons’. Its not that i dont like winter fh4,I just don’t like it as much as the other seasons.
Pretty much the same in real life for me too, snow covered is beautiful for a day or two, but the appeal doesn’t last long

I loved winter. Especially driving the Hoonigan Ford RS200 using a snow tune. Corning and handling in the snow was epic.

Wow this is such a big deal, better ask for my money back now, if only I didn’t have more important things to worry about.

I agree, there’s more important things to worry about in life such as Will Smith slapping Chris Rock. I think there’s some war going on too.

Can’t say I have heard anything about a war, but Will Smith slapping Chris Rock sounds interesting.

Only issues I had with winter were that it was forced on us, and wasn’t a choice. PGG could have very easily made seasons a choice when playing offline, but no, everyone had to be in the same season no matter what.

My other issue stems from the first one. Because we were forced into winter, it was a horrible compromise. It paled in comparison to the blizzard mountain DLC in three, which could throw extreme conditions at us without compromise because it was a choice to be there.

It’s an issue in 5 as well, but less of one.

I am hoping for an extreme weather DLC where, in the winter season, it’s completely covered in snow and can throw some really harsh conditions at us. I’m also hoping we will eventually be able to choose what season we are in while in the open world, but that makes too much obvious sense to ever be added to the game.

It’s usually a point of criticism towards Gran Turismo that, unlike in Forza, the cars are much more detailed than the backgrounds.

Well, buying a car game to look at the scenery is like going into a McDonald’s to eat salad. You went to McDonald’s, but you didn’t get the McDonald’s experience. The cars are the stars.

Kaz is a self-taught photographer and understands the purpose of photography when designing a game’s visuals. The detail is in the focused objects, always. This is why GT7’s replays look spectacular. Other gaming studios work with the same goal in mind. This is how a game like God of War can look incredible while not having the high res textures Halo Infinite does.

The lack of car in the intro doesn’t change how the game works, but it hints at the artistic direction of the game. Forza Horizon places an excessive focus on the way the world looks, because they know graphics sell. It comes at the expense of the cars, which range from latest laser-scanned high quality models to things brought over from FM2’s days.

The AMG One dominates the cover of the game, but is completely cast aside in the intro, which favors the scenery instead. Since I play racing games because of the cars, not so much the scenery, I think this is a problem.

It’s called motion blur and does exist is all Forza Horizon games.

Reason why you don’t notice it that easily in other 4:

  • direction of camera movement
  • notice how far everything is from camera in those other 4

We’re not talking about clarity, we’re talking about the lack of cars.

Couldn’t have said it better myself.

I’m so excited about pencil dresses, mittens (in Mexico), fewer cars, fewer racing modes, serious bugs never getting fixed, and non-stop nerfs. Best racing game ever. I can barely contain my joy. /sarc

I have no issues with game or it’s Cheating unbeatable Drivatars as such. But I am having problem with so many bugged accolades 5 months after release.

I need the mittins.

The drivers fingers look like plump sausages on the steering wheel. It’s just a bit off y’know.
