Well well… this game has been getting dragged down by the whole community due to it’s number of bugs and the poor treatment of us loyal and VIP members.
It’s clear that this game was almost some sort rushed out the door, the sheer amount of bugs, performance issues… and I’d rather stop there and not get into details. I love Forza since FM3 launched, i kept my mouth quite, despite my game crashes on xbox and the new VIP treatment. I tried, i really did, and i love the game from the outside but on the inside im fuming !
Upon completing a 2h endurance race, my game literally skipped the money and xp rewards screen and jumped right into the main menu.
And now… guess what?
Level 20, with over a decent amount of credits and almost 15h+ gameplay it completely broke my game.
Whenever i try to access my rewards screen the game crashes and god almighty if i dare to finish a race ! Whenever i finish a race and it jumps into the XP rewards screen my level is set to “1” and the game crashes… Every . Single. Time !
That’s a whole game breaking feature… thanks a lot T10!
Thanks for focusing on your 12 year olds Forza horizon kids and completely forgetting the loyal and real consumers that stuck with you all the way!
This isn’t the first post I’ve seen about this, so I’m glad I held off doing the endurance race. I was planning on doing it on ‘extra long’ for the achievement. Now I’ll wait.
It’s suffering from some game breaking bugs atm and that really isn’t up to T10’s standards at all so we should absolutely be vocal in our displeasure but 12 year old horizon fans, no. I’m 35 and I like our bi-yearly excursion to fun town now almost as much as I love endurance races at spa, which is a lot. So calm down please but don’t stop airing your opinion, just in a manner befitting an adult.
The game has a lot of faults and we aren’t happy about it. Let’s not turn on each other or they won’t listen to our criticism at all.
Don’t get me wrong, Horizon is the best racing tittle out there by miles. Im 24 and mature enough so i believe and I’ve put over 300h in horizon. My point is that FM was always a mature racing game to compared to it’s sister Horizon. Horizon 3 is an astonishing game, FM6 was also great, despite some issues it was excellent and felt like a mature game somewhat. This Forza i don’t get the feeling anymore, the music and menus are off, the steering feels a bit more arcade, the loot crate or as i like to call them the “care packages” it all seems off. It’s good to see the series taking a new turn but so much has been compromised. Take the VIP system for example, that’s another story. I feel like they are aiming for another audience with this style of Forza and forgetting the loyal ones and how great forza was for its simple look , amazing gameplay and features. I’m sorry for breaking it to you and not saying the kindest words but you must understand the frustration. I’ve lost it and now my ultimate hard copy feels as almost priceless. And if it keep going this way then trust me… in 5 years Forza will become what call of duty became.
And this irks me, really - since they already have Horizon that caters to the casual, pro-NFS crowd, why are they trying to put their foot in both boats at the same time with FM7? Why not just call it Generic Racing Game 7?
Hmmm, yeah I’ve seen one to many posts about this issue and I planned on an endurance race as soon as I get home from work. Think I’ll hold off on that idea for a while.
