Issue with car you are currently in (car you got into)

Hi all,

Just have an issue at the moment where the car I got into doesn’t load up correctly. To explain, whenever I start the car, my starting car is a Toyota g86. I go into career to get into a different car, but whenever I restart the game later on, it always goes back to the toyota g86.

I’ve tried changing cars and quitting the game from dashboard, tried changing the car and hard resetting the xbox one, still no dice. I’ll try reinstalling the game if necessary but I’d like to avoid that if possible. Anyone have any other ideas? It would be very much appreciated.

When you go into the career mode to change your car, are you completing any races or anything that would initiate a file save? If not, I suspect the reason the game is doing this is because you haven’t actually reached a save point and your previous save point has the Toyota as the vehicle which you last used.
