As the title says, whenever I start the game, I’m always put in my Focus RS, regardless of what car I was driving before I closed it down. Part way through a championship using the same car? Focus RS on start up. Do several 50x laps in an Indy Car? Focus RS on start up. It’s no big deal of course, as I just go and select the car from the garage (lag much?), but can be ever so slightly annoying at times. Anyone else had this issue?

Mine reverts back to Porche 944 which is the first car I got from the store. Not every time but quite often if manual shut down. If app closes due to crash 944 will be there when I reopen the app 100% guaranteed.
yeah it’s a minor niggle, so not worth putting on the tech support board, they got bigger fish to fry over there. Can’t remember the first car I bought, could well have been the RS though.
I to had the same issue. It happened after a CTD in the searching for designs menu. Weird thing is when I restarted the game I was in the FE Monte Carlo with the donk wheels. The Monte Carlo which appeared out of thin air also. I hadn’t even raced a race yet but the car appeared out of thin air following the CTD. After that anytime I started the game I would always be in the FE Monte Carlo regardless of what I had left the game driving. I don’t know what platform you are playing on, but for me this happened on the XBOX ONE digital Ultimate edition.
I found that a hard reset reboot solved the problem so far, but haven’t done enough fresh game launches to see if it is fully cured of the problem. Try a hard reset it should work to resolve it.
Thank God someone is worse off than me. If I had that Monte Carlo FE load after each CTD I would not be able to continue any further. Although it can be a pain to have to visit the garage to get the car I was using the little red Porsche 944 is a sexy little beast.
My game is doing the same thing … except with random cars that I’ve never even driven.
