Default car in garage

When you start the game,each time on the dashboard the car you areinis always the same,in my case its an older Holden.If i get into another car,play then turn the game off when i start the game at a later date im back inthe old Holden!Anybody know why this is or have i missed something to correct it in the settings?

I nearly always end up in the VW Golf … Although very occasionally it seems to work properly and I am where I left off…
