As the title states, i’m wondering if such a system exists?
I’ve been in the Elite division for Leagues for the last 2 series and i’m now at the point of not really wanting to play the game.
I know somebody will come back with “go and play the ghost league” but I like the face there is contact and it is proper racing, and I can deal with slight nudges in to corners, that is a part of racing and is how it should be.
I am talking about drivers who do 100mph in to a 90degree turn with the sole intention of wrecking as many people as possible - Turn 1 on any track is obviously rife for this, one guy does it from the back of the pack and it literally has a domino effect - even when I deliberately hold back to avoid the carnage I somehow always end up in it and i’m sick of racing for a top 10 finish.
I am by no means the quickest or the best driver - I try to take the correct lines and will more than happily move over for somebody who has the jump on me, but most of the time even when i take the outside line people carry for too much speed in to turns and I end up in the sand.
From the last two weeks I could easily rattle of 10 names of drivers who are always causing the trouble in my division. I won’t do it as it’s obviously against policy but I have yet to see any racer get kicked from a lobby even with a few of us on mics all voting them and agreeing they are causing the trouble. What is the point of a kick system if it takes 10+ people to vote them out? It just never happens.
I can’t win - I start front of the grid I get wiped out by idiots - I start back of the grid and IF, any it’s a big IF still, I manage to sneak through the pile ups - The front runners are long gone and i’m racing for 10th.
Sorry to have a moan but the whole joy of Forza Online is just dead. I am only talking about a minority I know, but it is enough to ruin it. There are some very good racers in my league and I’ve had some good banter with them.
I have tonnes of clips of people wiping me out on purpose, and I know it isn’t just me that gets taken out, I’m in no way feeling like I’m being ganged up on, although there are a few drivers who target me - I feel I am talking for many others with this post who feel the same way.
My suggestion would be once somebody accumulates 10x kick votes - they get 24 hour ban from multiplayer. The next 10x kick votes = 48 hours and so on. It would certainly weed out the idiots and encourage people to drive better if there is a penalty, but I don;t seem to see anything being done about them.
Is there even a punishment system in place? Surely turn10 must see the same names accumulating kick votes and see that they are obviously causing problems within the lobbies.
Fellow forum member and youtuber Super GT - YouTube has a few videos as of late where you can see people purposely making contact to gain a position on and or wipe him out.
*On a side note, In my 10 races or so tonight I didn’t get single disconnect so the servers seem much more stable. There are still ghosted out cars on the start grid but I can deal with that if it means stable servers.
