As the subject says, I would be very grateful if someone could tell me how I can remove AI drivers from the game.
It is very hard to drive freely due to me being blind, and even though I use the auto steering assists, it doesn’t steer me past said drivatars and I keep crashing into them as there are so many!
If I could choose, I would have it so there is only 1 drivatar that appears every now and again so I can challenge them to head to head if need be, but I just feel frustrated when I’m trying to drive and I’m limited because the assists don’t avoid them.
I have to go online so there isn’t any drivatars, but this isn’t convenient because most of my playtime is in solo and I don’t always have internet.

Great question but many people wanted the same in Horizon 4. Maybe try support ticket but I don’t think it won’t change anytime soon.

If you modify the volume of traffic online then you modify it for all. That’s because all drivers in the same instance can see the same ai cars and everyone can change the surrounding environment for others.
One thing I could suggest for your situation is try offroading. You can have a blast driving around in a variety of places like the dunes wheree there are no cars or other obstacles.
I hardly see any traffic… FH4 had way too much traffic, but I rarely see AI in open world FH5.
Perhaps you’re not playing in solo, there isn’t any AI drivers in online/horizon life but as soon as you go into solo then you’ll see there’s to much traffic .

Great replies. I see you all here are replying to non existent problems to hide the fact that the new update broke the game.
You clearly have never played in a Solo session before. Educate yourself before you talk about something.

Just because you aren’t experiencing a particular issue doesn’t mean it’s not an issue at all! If there wasn’t an issue, then the OP wouldn’t have posted about it.
OP: I have no suggestions unfortunately…I suspect the assists simply can’t navigate the number of Drivatars on the road when in Solo Mode…when I go into Solo Mode, I sometimes struggle to navigate them and I have no visual issues

No worries, I have emailed the T10 accessibility panel and suggested as feedback that they could either add a traffic density option to the menus like in GTAV, or edit the assists so that it steers harder to avoid them.

As far as I know there’s been no discussion of game updates in this topic and anyone who makes an effort to take heed of what the topic is about instead of making negative assumptions would realise this, so I don’t know what the problem is…

Not a permanent setting or solution, but, you can go to Online > Horizon Open > Open Racing and quit out once you get the event signup screen. This will remove traffic in your current instance.
