Is Forzathon live getting old?

Maybe make it so if there’s only 1-2 people, it’s actually possible to complete in the allotted time?

Just a thought.

Forzathons are probably fun for new players who don’t own everything. If you’ve been playing for 9 months and no longer enjoy them, try doing something else. The game has plenty of other things to do.

I still occasionally do them sometimes. They are great way to grind some skill points in the process and do something else than racing all the time. That said, I’m glad that I don’t need to grind them for Forzathon points anymore. Doing them in repeat what felt like ad infinitum was not within my definition of fun by any means.

I started noticing that there might be less players participating about couple of weeks ago and perhaps I have encountered more of the type whom just park their cars nearby and watch others working trough the tasks. Most of the time I have got full points, but now I think of it, there might have been few weeks since I have been in a team that can complete all tasks in less than 5 minutes.

There was one time a few weeks back, where there was myself and two others in the event. I’ll stick around and finish it, even if it’s obvious we’re not going to make it. Because 40 is better than nothing. But the other two gave up and completely disappeared at the 10 minute mark, leaving just me. I don’t know if you need to stay in the vicinity to complete the event or not, but eventually I just gave up and parked on the side of the road to run out the clock.

I don’t hate them, in fact its the part i miss the most since I have gone back to FH3 - at least in forzathons there is a feeling of teamwork and actual people around unlike freeroam in general.

It has lost its function as they have no new incentives for which to race for. There is no need to run Forzathon when prizes are what you already own - duh!

That’s the thing about games, you eventually complete many aspects of them. Once you have all the cars, emotes and clothing, then there’s no need to take part in Forzathons unless you enjoy them. That’s what happens. Just enjoy other aspects of the game. It’s not like PG will continues to release new cars for free for infinity.

But for new players Forzathons are great. I was very late to FH3 and the Forzathons had already ended. For a new player that’s a bummer!

Another thing that gets to me during the forzathon live events are the players that start the events and travel to the area that the round is being held at, And than just sit there getting points when everyone else is doing all the work, I wish that they could make a system that if you don’t work, You don’t get any points.

From what I have experienced, if you don’t participate, you don’t get any points.

I exited the garage at the festival once and the announcer said “Forzathon Started!” (the Forzathon was starting at the Festival Site). I didn’t want to participate because I was testing a car, so I didn’t. When the Forzathon was finished I got a message stating something like “you didn’t score any points.” and so, I didn’t get any Forzathon points.

If you do one run say in a drift zone you get points but most rounds require everyone to do multiple passes but there’s a lot of people out there that just do one pass in each round to get the points.

I saw this today in the last Forzathon live I played. It was last event and skills at the rail yard so incredibly easy. This guy just went and hid in one of the sheds till it was over. In the previous round which was a drift zone 5 cars out of 10 just at the end doing nothing.

I still do them sometimes, although I really don’t need to. I have maybe 4,000 fp saved, but I can’t spend them because I already have practically everything they put in the forzathon shop, and I keep bumping up against the 750 car garage limit, so I don’t buy extra wheelspins. If T10/PG ever manages to give us back the option of cashing out wheelspin cars, then getting more fp would be worth it. It would also be nice of the devs could go and create new forzathon events, instead of just repeating the same ones we already have over and over. That’s one good part about the LEGO expansion…totally new forzathon live events, at least until they get boring as well. Right now, I rotate between the mainland, fortune island, and LEGO valley so I can have as much variety in forzathon live events as you can possibly have.

As each season has more events and consumes more time, Forzathon live loses its value. I sit on the points and the cars I´d like to spend them on are unavailable. I do not play the adventures because I hate them, so I never exceed the 80 percent mark to get rare cars. So why bother ?

I’ve got almost all the ‘rare’ cars, just missing the Ferrari 812 and Rip Rod.

So I’m only going to care about Forzathon shop if they put in some more of the ultra-expensive autoshow cars. The stuff that’s 2mil or more. Because those high end autoshow cars are really the only things I need to get now. I have almost 60mil in credits right now, but even that isn’t enough to buy all the multi-million cars in the autoshow.
