Having finished up world tour recently, finally got a better look at the event list and it turns out one of the base game events, Ring Sedan Challenge M5 F10, requires the download of a car that is not included with the game or its second disc. And of course now this free DLC is no longer obtainable for anyone who didn’t previously download it (which I didn’t), this presents a bit of a problem.
Is there any possibility that the bucket list achievement does not require this particular event, making it still possible to obtain, or is my only option to get the achievement now is to track down a Porsche expansion code?
It should be obtainable without the DLC.
Yes, it should be, but that’s not really a confirmation that it is. I don’t want to spend the weeks/month required to clear the whole event list just to find out that one event on the list that somehow requires an unobtainable DLC car to even start the event was also the last event needed for Bucket List.
People report it unlocks at 98% or something. This achievement is not known to be unobtainable. You should be safe regarding this one.
People are worried about the Clubs now. The servers are not allowing people to create or join in FM4 for a while. And nobody answers us. =/
The thing with the 98% unlocking is that was reported by owners of the Porsche expansion, which presumably adds extra events to the list, so I am a bit skeptical of that.
Whatever the case, I’ll keep hammering at it and see, maybe in a month or so I’ll have a much more concrete confirmation of this. But more than likely people will be compelled to track down Porsche expansion codes anyway to get paid DLC score and fill in the gamerscore gaps left by the unicorn, kinect, and possibly now impossible club achievements as well.
Alright, it seems the reports actually were true, I got it at 98.1% with neither of the DLC I mentioned so I can now personally confirm it is possible to get Bucket List without them.
i was trying to race the Ring Sedan Challenge M5 F10 but this poped up “This content is unknown and must be downloaded from marketplace.” and the next notification is for years already “Sorry, the game cannot currently connect to Xbox Live. This feature cannot be used at this time”.
this is the only box that is not ticked yet even tho i got a eligible cars at my garage. how can i race those tracks?
