Until this week, it seemed there was always a Forzathon on the map–usually two. Every time I’ve logged in since Sunday, I’ve seen zero. I know I’m online because I’ve done online races. When I try to do whatever the weekly goal is that involves the Forzathon, every time I click on it, I get the no Forzathon events available–try back later (paraphrasing from memory) message.
I know, I always switch briefly to single player until the drivatars are visible and then back to horizon life and then the events are visible

i think you need to do a bit of driving , no pause, no telemetry, no menu, no tuning, no autoshow, no ah, no map, no festival and after a while it shows.
Just to be sure, log in a few minutes before the full hour. You should see the circle for the full hour event to start. There are 4 events every hour that start every 15 minutes. If I’m not mistaken there should be a window of 5 minutes when no event show on the map. There could be some bugs too. But anyway try the 5 minutes before the full hour and/or wait 5 minutes after the full hour. If the circle is not available try going solo and live again.

I definitely think there are some network issues and/or issues with xbox quick resume that cause this. For me, Fafibo’s fix works some of the time. Other times I have to manually close the game and start new.
There should always be 2 circles on the map (Drift and one of the others) when you’re properly connected. After you finish one, there is always the option to set a waypoint to the next.
If this thread is about Arcades, there are 4 themes - drift, air, speed and wreckage. From what I have seen approx 10 mins before the hour several of the themes will start to appear on the map and will have a countdown if you click on them. Approx 10min before the half hour a couple of them start to appear on the map. I have never looked for an Arcade event at 15 mins before or 15 mins after the hour.
If you view the map with nothing filtered out a couple of minutes before the hour or half hour and don’t see the circles, perhaps there are other things which need to be considered.

I checked it in game before my post so I’m sure that there are 4 events every 15 minutes. The first starting at full hour.
You mean 2 every 15 minutes. Always drifting and a random one. And when the 2 disappear, the next 2 events appear immediately. There is never a moment when no event is active on the map. At least that’s how it is in my game.

Yes, two. I didn’t want to confuse anyone. And you are right. When an Arcade event starts there’s a 2 minutes window for those that still want to take part in it and once it reach 0 the new events appears with the 13 minutes countdown timer. As you said, the Arcade should be visible at all time.
The first time I tried to do an Arcade event, none were showing on my map but since I discovered the timings and use the map instead of clicking on the challenge within the playlist I’ve never had a problem. I’ve mostly done drift events and one wreckage and one speed event.
Next time I’m on my console I’ll have a look at the 15 mins past and before events and the air and chaos themes. Many thanks for the additional information.
In the last week or so, Arcades showing up have been glitchy…sometimes they will show up as and when they are supposed to, other time they just will not show on the map at all…however, I found that, if I go to menu and choose to go to my Home and then back to Free Roam, they start showing up again.
Yes, I experienced this problem yesterday. Arcade events were appearing every hour or so, not every 15 minutes. It was infuriating trying to get that one point with an Audi. Over the course of about 3 hours events only appeared 3 times. And believe me I was checking. That one daily challenge was the only reason I was playing.
I had the same experience last night. I also wanted to complete the Audi S1 daily. I eventually completed it. Spent a lot of time doing short solo races while waiting.
