invisible cats in garage

Any car that had a tune added to it showed up as blank in my garage even after the tune is removed and even if it is the selected car I’m driving.
Thanks
Eric

LOL! This reminds me of all those noisy cats in forza 5. Epic stuff

Meow! I’m sure it’s a typo, but it’s funny! :smiley_cat:At least the OP won’t have a problem with invisible mice!

Try doing a system reset (hard boot) as below:
1 – from the Dashboard, out of all games, hold the X button on the front of the console down until it shuts the system down.
2 – Disconnect the external power from the wall plug (or at least disconnect the wall-side connector on the power pack itself).
3 – WAIT until all power drains from the external power pack (no light, either white or dull orange showing on the pack), then remove the PSU-to-Console connection from the back of the Xbox One.
4 – After about three minutes, reconnect the plug to the console followed by the power supply to the electrical outlet.
5 – Restart the console in the usual manner, i.e., either with the controller or a short push on the X button on the front of the X1.
6 – WAIT until the console self-checks and fully boots to the Dashboard before attempting anything.

If you don’t disconnect the external power pack and let the power completely drain out, the system is still retaining “old” stuff and not resetting. If there are any updates (system or games) following the reset, let them complete 100% before attempting to play any game even if it says “Ready to start” in the downloading queue.

Remove the tune.

Go to custom upgrades and return car to default.

Exit and see if car looks ok in menus now.

Reapply the tune.

Maybe get an invisible dog to run 'em outta there…

I’ve already tried the above fixes first thing, it’s been over a month like this. I reported the issue through the preview report an issue system but it hasn’t been fixed yet.

Keep the idea coming
Thanks
Eric

I’ve had this happen to me, and the fix I found was to go into designs/paints and (re)apply a paint job. Seems like that prompts the game to update the image of the car in the garage.

That’s what I was going to suggest. Repaint the car. I had this happen to my Alfa Giulia. Repainting it in the colors it already had brought the garage image back. Should be doable easily with liveries as well, as they’re saved separately from the car. (Even simple paint jobs are.)

Release between 5 and 17 radioactive bees in garage —> Invisible cats will reappear.

Release one bee at a time until you see the cats. If you release an 18th bee and you still don’t see any cats, they aren’t invisible at all, they just ran away.

The real question is how do you even know the cats are there! Great thread, proper LOL

Meow

point a fan into the garage, and throw flour in front of it - it will settle on the cats and make them visible

NOOOO!

I can’t let ^THIS^ get out, it’ll just RUIN my radioactive insect business! I’ll never sell all these bees NOW!

I see the best solution is to invest in newspaper
All these floury cats will be washing themselves, and that will just make them gluey - perfect opportunity to strike the market with newspaper strips for papier mâché!

I added a design and then erased it and it fixed that issue.
Thanks everyone and all the cats :cat:

Sassydot sounds like you’ve done that before.

See you on the road

Now to get my liveries to show up…

Invisible cats???

… But they’re invisible, how do you know they’re there?

Do you get a faint meow every now and then?
