Invalid profile help

Hello. I accidentally deleted my saved game profile and the game. I re-download Horizon 2. Now when it goes to load it says “Invalid Profile: The Forza Horizon profile you are trying to load is no longer available. Please delete it from the Xbox Dashboard and create a new one.”

Please help. I hope I don’t have to start over. Even so I can’t even figure that out. The game won’t load.

Thanks
Joe

You deleted your game save, I really have no clue how you accidentally do that.

Highlight Forza Horizon 2 and select manage game.

When looking at the game, all DLC, and game saves (to the right) make sure non indicate a corrupted file. On the Xbox 360 this was an exclamation mark in a yellow triangle.

You may have to delete your game save from the xbox and then download it from the could again. If you have to do this, make sure you pick the right option when asked and wait for the entire sync to finish. Do not do anything else on the console and wait until the games splash screen loads.

I suggest chatting with Xbox Customer Support and letting them walk you through the steps I just gave you. This will provide documentation in case anything goes wrong.

I contacted Xbox support last night. They had me reset the MAC address, delete the game, delete my profile, clear the persistent storage, do an extended power cycle to the console, redownload your profile and then redownload the game… Still same issue.

Xbox Support got your Profile back for you, but they (and no one else) can retrieve your saved game information because you deleted it.

Start over. Remember, any download content you purchased does belong to you and is a free download to that account.

Does anyone know what to do when you start up the game and hit start to load your profile, then it saying “the forza horizon profile you are trying to load is no longer available”. Please help, I really want to play my favorite game again.

As far as I know something can help:

First try (clearing cache): When your console is in the dashboard press for 10 seconds the powerbutton and than wait 5-10 minutes, start the console.

Second try: Turn the console normal off, put out the powercable, press the powerbutton (console should turn on for one second), (wait 5 minutes), put the powercable in, start the console.

Good luck!
