Introducing the Mclaren W1 halo hypercar

1275 ps, 1399 kg, 1000kg of downforce, new 4.0 liter V8 that revs to 9,200 rpm.

Ferrari’s next :eyes:

Porsche rumored to have ditched the electric powertrain in the mission X for a hybrid system.

Hypercar trinity 2.0?

Mclaren strikes first! Hopefully every Mclaren that follows won’t look like this, the P1 doesn’t get the love it deserves as far as resale value despite being the fastest of the trinity.

Well Ferrari are showing customers their halo car on October 10th, so it’s reveal is also imminent. Porsche isn’t going all electric for the mission X anymore, I heard they’re going the hybrid route again.

The big question is the engine. Both Motorsport V10’s (CGT) and V8’s (918) have been used. The only other option is the 2 liter turbocharged V4 found in the 919 LMP1. We’ll have to wait and see, I’m most excited to see the Porsche. The CGT and 918 have grown on me, and the 997.2 GT2 RS is my dream car.

It won’t be long until we see it. A month or two. They’re probably testing it at Fiorano this month before conditions get sub optimal. We can expect journalists to get their hands on the press cars summer-fall 2025. It’s going to be Tourbillon, W1, Ferrari F250 (code name) next spring-fall. Good stuff to look forward to.
