Hey guys,

Running a little Group A/Super Touring series. Locations loosely based on the 1996 ITC season, but including a US stop. Open to suggestions.

I am undecided on whether to pick Miami or Daytona. Both feel like they would be appropriate for the era. I am open to suggestion/discussion on these.

Sundays - 12 Noon PST / 3pm EST / 8pm UTC

All races ~100km - should last about 40-45 min

Feb 4 - :de:Nurburgring GP - 20 laps
Feb 11 - :us:Homestead Miami GP - 29 laps
Feb 18 - :uk:Silverstone GP - 20 laps
Feb 25 - :jp:Suzuka GP - 18 laps

Cars: Any car homologated for Group A or pre-2000 Super Touring or any reasonable substitution.
(Vauxhall Carlton in place of the Opel Omega, Volvo 850R for the 850 T5, etc.)

A700
Must have race tires & cage
Must have a livery

3 Lap Qualifying Race
Grid Order by Lap Time
2 Mandatory Stops
Rolling Start
1X Time Progression
Random Weather, but dry track.
Full Penalty
Collisions On
DQs On
Ghosts Disabled
All Assists Allowed

I would be interested in this event and also I’m available on Sundays. Would take some setting up with the way the car progression system works.

See y’all Sunday at the ‘Ring

Our pit crew will be the guys holding Big Gulps.

Setting up the lobby 15 minutes before the hour, will send invites to all interested. Will give time for everyone to get in the lobby. Start qualifying race 10-minutes after the hour, and then into the feature race.

Welcome to Miami.

Opened in 1995, Homestead-Miami Speedway was buzzing with events throughout 1996 and would have made a perfect venue for International Touring Cars.

Beaches, palm trees, and 29 laps around the road course this Sunday.

Yesterday’s race was delayed until next weekend and the schedule postponed a week as people had Super Bowl plans

Will return to Miami next week.

What I’ve seen so far during practice sessions, is that it’s going to be close!
